This is an outrageously stupid story written purely as a sequel/parody of Seer's brilliant horror fiction Onkalo, which is itself a sequel to Flashgen's brilliant horror fiction Pneuma (this links to an older, Google docs version of the story than is presently available on fimfic, and is the version on which Onkalo is based). Reading these stories is not only imperative to enjoying this fiction, but is highly recommended in general. after discovering an old photograph, moondancer reflects on past relationships, and how they affect her to this day. she also ponders a simple question; does she want to be alone, or does she want to be surrounded by others?

moondancer is such a fascinating character to me because of her backstory, and i wish she could've gotten more focus in the show.

The following transcripts are of a journal found in Ponyville on April 16th of this year. The last recorded contact with the town had been 3 days prior, on the 13th, when a team under orders from Princess Celestia was sent to look into several missing pony reports in the area. When another group of investigators were sent on the 16th, the town was found deserted. The journal’s owner is believed to be the princess’s personal student, Twilight Sparkle. None of the town’s inhabitants have been located in the weeks since.

This is my first serious(ish) story in several years, and I'd like to thank Ice Star for helping with the cover; my Google Docs prereaders who I no longer remember the fandom names of because I procrastinated on editing this for almost two years: Rep Hex, –P, Min, Jeremy, yay force, Lightning Flash, and anonymous; and also Aragon for letting me bounce ideas off of him.
