Hello!
I’m Red Parade, self-proclaimed fan of obscure ponies and background characters, and I’m opening for commissions! I’m fairly new to this whole business but I figured I’d give it a go to see how things turn out. Everything you should know is outlined below: a TLDR is provided at the end of this post but I urge to read the entire thing carefully if you want to commission me.
So let’s start with the basics: what I accept, what I don’t, and my current rates.

I do not take NSFW commissions at this time. I do not write porn or sex, so if you’re looking for those I’m afraid I can’t help you there. Beyond that, I also won’t tell fetish stories that make me feel uncomfortable.
So what do I do?
Having published over sixty stories on FimFic so far, I can confidently say that I’ve developed a good wheelhouse of genres. In fact, I’ve used mostly every FimFic blue genre tag at least once!
I consider my strongest genres to be slice of life, romance, and sad fics. That being said, I’d be open to most anything: slice of life stories, romance with obscure pairings, horror fics about spooky places, etc. etc. I will take OC’s on a case by case basis but please be prepared to provide references and descriptions of them.
Pricing
My current rate is $20 per 1,000 words. I will send an invoice once we confirm the details and start the story within 48 hours after I confirm the payment has been received.
Payment will be done through a PayPal invoice: please have an email address that you are comfortable sharing with me ready.
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND:
- Before those 48 hours pass, I will fully refund you.
- After those 48 hours pass but before I complete half of the story, I will fully refund you.
- After those 48 hours pass and I have already completed half of the story, I can not refund you.
Please let me know if you change your mind as soon as possible, as I can not offer you a refund if I have already completed a good portion of the story.
The fic you will get will be pre read and edited before it is published. Cover art will likely be a simple stock photo or a still from the show: I am not comfortable using other people’s art without permission.
Qualifications
So, why should I be trusted to take your commission?
I have been writing MLP fanfics since 2017 and as I stated earlier have logged 60 published stories under my belt in a variety of genres. I have also been featured eight times on Equestria Daily, once by Seattle’s Angels, and once by the Royal Canterlot Library.
In addition, I have completed several commissions previously as rewards for Quills and Sofas winners as proof that I do deliver:

Once we agree on the scope of the fic, I will send you an invoice through PayPal. When the payment is received, I will let you know when I have started on your story and provide progress reports if asked. When I have completed writing and editing the story, I will link you to the google document for you to view and request minor changes. After that, the story will be published to FimFic.
TL;DR:
- Pricing is currently $20 per 1,000 words done through PayPal invoice.
- I am not taking NSFW commissions at this time. All other genres are welcome.
- Refunds will be granted 48 hours after your initial payment, or after 48 hours and before I complete half of the story. Requests after 48 hours and after I complete half of the story will not be granted.
