While moving to her new home, Zecora find the strangest creature - a large, nigh-hairless talking monkey-thing. Seeing how it lacks basic knowledge on surviving in the wild (and that it's quite tall and probably good at manual labour) she decides to adopt it as her assistant. Hopefully, she won't come to regret her decision.

When Ken, a highly trained archer, is teleported into Equestria during his latest mission, armed with only his longbow, arrows, and daggers, he must survive in the Everfree Forest hiding from the town of Ponyville. But when timber wolves attack a nearby group of fillies, he has two options: Leave the three to be eaten, or expose himself and save them.

Alex, a rookie paralegal, is sent to find and deliver papers to a recluse who's abandoned his family to join a misanthrope at his shack, abandoning all his responsibilities.

He finds their lodge, but they're not home. Following a trail in an effort to find his quarry, Alex finds his way into Equestria, where he is captured by force to stand accused of the crimes of others. Unable to communicate, lost, alone, and locked up like an animal, how will he save himself from a fate most terrible and unjust?

The first few chapters run before the character has any interaction with any one pony for long, the true character interactions are yet to come.

Originally I'd intended to write the story of The Poacher's War starting from the beginning chronologically, but in the interest of narrative, I've decided to follow a single character through his viewpoint.

Finally wanting to prove that her life-long belief in humans is valid, Lyra tries to summon one. It all goes horribly wrong when she ineptly summons a creature that cannot speak Equish, and scares the crap out of ponies. He instead escapes into the Everfree Forest to live among the other monsters there.

Pinkie Pie's friends don't believe her when she tells them they are being watched, and calls the watchers "Space Ponies".
One day, she feels a Doozy and goes in search of one for proof...
Things don't turn out as expected for the hapless Brony/Furry fan she brings back. Oh well, at least Twilight has somepony new to study.
Can the intrepid former human hide behind the scenes as a BG pony through season 2 and 3, or will he bring disaster to Equestria?
Only time will tell...

Well it aint. It sucks, to be blunt. Hurts alot too, but that's probably a side effect of appearing up high in the air instead of on the ground... but i digress.

Meet John, and no he aint your average joe. He travels through the multiverse. And when he sadly is a xenophobiac - which sucks, with how he travels as he does- and does all in his power to ensure that he dosen't get raped by, well, every. Single. Female. In sight?
