Where am I?

Introductions

I awoke gasping for breath.

I sat up in the bed trying to calm my nerves. Once my breathing was normal I looked over and saw Luna sleeping on what seemed to be a small cloud.

I moved to the end of the bed to try to stand, but as soon I did I was washed over by a wave a nausea.
I fell back onto the bed and waited for it to pass. During this time I recalled the nights events.

She was in my dreams. I don't even know if what she said was real. Was it just a regular old dream, or was she actually there?

As I pondered these things my nausea passed, and I was able to sit up again.

I sat at the edge of the bed and attempted to stand again, more slowly this time.

Slowly but surely I stood, and took small steps around the room. I examined the star charts and the painting more closely. They were all beautiful.

The detail was extraordinary, and could never be replicated by the human eye.

As I explored the room, Luna stirred from her sleep and rolled over on her cloud. I froze until she had stopped moving, not wanting to risk waking her just in case our conversation wasn't real.

I stopped and looked into her mirror. I was a sight. I was pale and looked like I had lost 30 pounds. My face was still scuffed up from all the ''adventures'' had been on the last few. My pants were torn, and I still had no shirt. My eyes were sunk in, and my chin was only bone and skin.

I turned to explore more of the room when there was a soft knock on the door.

Tap, tap, tap. “Princess Luna? Are you awake?”

I heard Luna stir in her sleep again, I had to hide. I couldn't be found again.

I dove under the bed and stayed as quiet as possible

They knocked again

Tap, tap, tap. “Princess, is everything okay?”

This time Luna replied groggily. “Yes come in”

The door opened and 6 pairs of hooves entered the room.

“Good morning” Luna called to the 6.

“Actually it's good afternoon princess. It's almost 3:00pm.” One of the replied.

Luna looked out side for a moment. “I apologize I awoke to lower the moon and must have gone back to sleep.

Lower the moon? I thought to myself. What are they talking about.

One of the 6 turned towards the bed

“Princess?” it asked with a slightly British accent “Where is you're ''guest''?”

Luna was silent for a few moments. She chuckled before speaking “I am sure he is around. Would you give just a few moments to freshen up?”

The 6 nodded and left the room. Closing the door behind them.

Luna lowered herself from her cloud.

She turned calmly around room before turning towards the bed.

“You know you don't have to hide anymore. No one is going to hurt you.”

She calmly walked towards the bed and was encased with a dark blue field, similar to her horn, when it lights up. The bed started moving upwards until it was floating above her.

She looked down at me with a playful smile. “Come on.” She said “They only want to help.”

I sighed in defeat and stood in front of her. I stared into her eyes for a few moments before responding. “I'm trusting you.”

She smiled back and replied. “I'm glad. That means you're one step closer to going home.”

I broke the stare and limped out to the balcony to get some fresh air.

I leaned out onto the balcony and was floored by the scene around me.

The castle was high up, even higher than the mountains below it. I looked upon the mountains and the forests and saw no structures at all. No houses, no buildings, just pure raw untainted nature. The mountains gleamed in the distance, and the rivers that rapped around the forests were perfectly clean.

I heard the clopping of hooves behind me. “It's quit a sight is it not?”

I took a few moments before responding “It's beautiful. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Luna gave a light laugh. “Come. The others are waiting.”

I went back into the room and sat down on the edge of the bed.

She walked over to open the doors to let the others in, but I stopped her

“Luna wait.”

she looked to me with a quizzical stare.

“Whats the problem?”

“I don't have a shirt.”

She looked around for a moment, before using her magic to throw me a blanket.

“This will have to do for now, I can have one made for you later.”

I thanked her, and wrapped the blanket around me

She opened the door and called to the 6 who were waiting outside.

She walked back in with 6 smaller ponies following her. They were the same ones I had seen Luna with in the great hall.

They each walked in and settled their eyes on me. They all took a seat on the opposite side of the room from me.

We sat in silence for a few moments. Their eyes never leaving me, and me looking over each of them, trying not to shrink into a ball from the uncomfortableness.

The lavender one seemed to search every square inch of me. She looked like she could barely hold herself back, like she wanted to get a closer look, but knew it would be impolite.

The orange and the white one were simply looking in curiosity, while the rainbow one stared at me with narrowed eyes. Like I couldn't be trusted.

Another was the small butterscotch Pegasus, who seemed to be trying to hide behind her long pink mane. When I tried to meet her eyes she squeaked and tried to sink deeper into her mane.

The final one was the bright pink pony, who stared at me with a huge smile, like she couldn't wait to have me as a friend.

A silence passed around the room for a few moments, before Luna finally spoke up.

“Why don't we all introduce ourselves?” She suggested.

They spoke in order

“Twilight Sparkle”

“Applejack”

“Rarity”

“Rainbow Dash”

“F-Fluttershy”

“Speak up please, dear.” Luna reminded the pegasus

“F-fluttershy”

“And I'm Pinkie Pie” The pink one shouted.

I stared at them for a few moments before replying. “Um... Micheal. Would you excuse me for a moment.” I said quickly. I stood and moved to the balcony as fast as possible. I leaned over the balcony feeling sick.

I heard Luna reassure the others. “I'll talk to him.” A moment I heard the clopping of hooves and she was next to me.

“Are you okay?” She asked me. Concern laced in her voice.

I took deep breathes for a few moments before responding.

“Sorry, I just... I thought I was going to melt under their stares. It's still a lot to take in you know?”

I felt something settle over my shoulders. Looked and saw that Luna had placed her wing over me.

She looked to me with her warm motherly smile. “I promise, everything will be okay. My friends are going to help you get home.

My stomach gave a long moan. “Maybe some food first.” I chuckled. She laughed and we walked back into the room.

Luna opened her mouth to speak to the 6, when their was a knock at the door.

She froze and looked to me. “Hide. We can't have anyone find you.

I walked out to the balcony and went to a section partially hidden behind a wall.

Luna calmly walked over to the door and opened it.

Her smile instantly disappearing when she saw who it was. “Oh. Good morning.”

Standing above Luna was Celestia. A look upon her face similar to the look a mother gives a smile child when they know they have done something, they just don't know what.

“Good morning to you to, sister.”
