Sequel to Pinkie Pie Meets the Pyro. I suggest you read it, if you haven't already. Imagine watching Rocky IV without watching Rocky III, it's possible, but the story isn't satisfactory and Cthulhu will hunt you down and claim your soul if you do.

July 22, 2013 Update: Total rework of the chapters, the story is tighter, more coherent, and I would like to apologize to the people who read it before this update. I reread all of it and saw so many obvious mistakes, really shoddy work, again sorry about it, I won't let it happen again.

A warning from Princess Celestia is overridden by Pinkie Sense and leads Pinkie Pie into the Everfree forest where she makes a strange and talkative new friend. A heart burning tale of love, loss, lactose, and alliteration.
A/N: The Pyro's gender has been played with, but Valve has given no indication to him/her/shim being a male or female. Though I personally believe he is a female. I will use male pronouns because magic. I have no idea where this story came from but it exist now and I had fun writing it. Hope you like the read.

THIS WAS WRITTEN MAY, 2011. I just wanted to post it here. This is pretty much an average TCB story with humanity dropping everything to run to the ponies as saviors. I hadn't asked the 'why' of that yet, though I think I may have touched on it here. Here, instead, is a question about what the process (as explained to me in various stories I read) does to us. To the essence of humanity. It is also a bit misanthropic but at the time I thought that was the way to go with it. I've changed my mind since then. I also used a clip from another author's story, the 'dream' sequence during the transformation, and I may not have credited him. I THINK it was Midnight's story but I could be wrong. I'm sorry to the author for not crediting him, I wish I had saved where I got it from. If anyone knows, please PM me so I can give proper credit where it is due. When Twilight Sparkle finds this book, she discovers an entirely new field of research. The secrets of pegasus wings lie before her, and she insists on making her own observations on the matter.

Field research, of course.

After a typical party from Pinkie Pie over at Sugarcube Corner, Twilight Sparkle heads home for the night. Then, by chance, she encounters and converses with Derpy Hooves, who was staring longingly up at the near-midnight moonlit sky. Conflicting emotions follow Twilight's conscience afterwards.

The Great and Powerful Trixie returns to Ponyville a year after her prior visit to offer magic lessons to Twilight Sparkle. Does the brash unicorn have something to teach Twilight or will Trixie simply find more humiliation?

This story was written quite a bit of time ago and I haven't gone to change anything based on continuity in the past 6 months or so. Not that anything happened in the show that would affect the sense-make of this (moreso than it being fanfiction, anyway). Besides that, I didn't feel the need to shoehorn in references to season two. Besides this version of the story, I'll be making a non-shipping version as well, so if you're not a fan of Twixie, just *puts on sunglasses* hold your horses.

Twilight becomes alicorn of the stars. This is sort of a problem, because Luna kind of already was alicorn of the stars. Oops!
