Starlight struggles to come to terms with her past. How could somepony ever forgive her? Moreover, why is she receiving love and forgiveness when she doesn't deserve it? Why? In her mind, she deserves nothing but damnation and eternal hatred. So why does this magenta Alicorn continue to fight for her? Starlight is broken. And she does not want to be repaired. No, she doesn't deserve to be repaired. Love brings nothing but heartbreak, so why love at all?

This short story explains what happened after the episode: The Cutie Remarking. It is directly related to my own universe, however, you do not need to read anything else to understand or enjoy this narrative.

Starlight Glimmer told her friends that she was afraid to go back to her old town to celebrate the annual Sunset Festival. The Mane Six reassured her that she’s changed for the better, and that she wouldn’t have been invited if her old village had not believed she had reformed.

She decides to go with Trixie, but upon leaving, Twilight and the others were captured by Queen Chrysalis which made Starlight come back and get an unlikely team to save them!

But what if something else happened?

What if Starlight was too afraid to go to the festival that she didn’t leave? And what if Chrysalis and her changelings arrived at that same moment to invade Ponyville? How different would it might have been?

Well, actually, it would end up being a smart move for Starlight since she would stay and save her friends BEFORE they were captured. But what if that’s what happened instead?

Twilight Sparkle had only spent a few days recovering from her visit to Our Town and the defeat their cult leader when she finds a letter from said unicorn dictator, stating her intentions of revenge that she definitely has already planned, and that she will keep an eye on her, not because she's living in the castle and has been stealing her food to survive.

Needless to say, Twilight is very confused.

Despite the title, this story is unrelated to my Princess Cadance Saves Equestria (Wait, What?!) story and its sequel Princess Celestia Saves Equestria (And Pay Up!)

Starlight Glimmer is filled with guilt for all the things she did at her old town. She also is wondering why Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship, is giving her a second chance after all the misery Starlight caused. Twilight and Starlight take the train right after Starlight becomes Twilight's apprentice of friendship.

This takes place during the song, Friends Are Always There For You, in the last episode of Season 5. There is a brief scene where Starlight returns with Twilight to the town Starlight had left at the beginning of the season. I know Starlight returns later in a different episode, but I wanted to write a short little story showing what Starlight might be thinking after her whole ordeal.

The Great and Powerful Trixie has eagerly been looking forward to her date with Starlight Glimmer, but her hopes of a wonderful evening with her fillyfriend are dashed when she finds Starlight taking care of Flurry Heart. Now Trixie finds stuck herself helping with the royal foal. Still, it’s only for a little bit, and the worst of Flurry’s magical outbursts are surely long behind her—between her and her fillyfriend, how hard could watching a foal for a few hours really be?
