Ponies are like glass; they can fall apart.

When their most fragile friend finally, irreparably shatters, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie watch their bonds dissolve. Together, they have to find out that life is beautiful—albeit painful—and that friendship can survive anything.

"My father's stories were, at times, so vivacious, but at others, solemn, as if they were frozen to the touch. He acted as if he owned them. He tucked them neatly away in his mind, capturing every last detail, until he could release them. Always unto me. It was though he lived through her life stories. Through his memories of her. Through his love, which seemed to never die, for a pony who had died long ago."

Grief strangled Fluttershy from birth, as death tackled her loved ones violently. Her mother had died, and her father had forgotten how to live.

Her feelings had finally slipped out, so it was all done and dusted, right? Correct. But Fluttershy had never expected to find out that her crush was also keeping something hidden from her for so many years, as well.

After school let out, Rainbow Dash invited Fluttershy over to her house. Spending time with each other as nobody bothered them, they both begin to discover something that they have both been keeping from each other. How will they react when one of them tells the other about their true feelings?

Fluttershy has long since had a secret crush on the lord of chaos himself. Worried that she would ruin their friendship, Fluttershy has chosen not to act on it. Choosing to watch from afar and simply enjoy their relationship as is, she now fears that she risks losing him to another pony. One that is better suited to him in every sense of the word.

What to do, what to do....

Fluttershy and Discord are expecting a foal; which means a few things in their lives need to change. For starters they need to make sure that their foal has a healthy birth despite a rather large complication.

Discord is filled to the brim with magic. Any child he conceives must be born of similar magic. Currently Fluttershy is not equipped to see the pregnancy to the desired outcome.
The solution must be born of Chaos. Are they prepared to do what it takes?
Is Fluttershy prepared to fully give herself to Chaos to start their family?

On their first date, Pinkie Pie convinced Fluttershy to let loose to overcome her hangups about dating. Now it's the day after, and the two ponies realize that making one date work doesn't set the foundation for an entire relationship. Especially since Fluttershy isn't sure she can maintain the sarcasm and teasing that let her relax so well the night before.

Fluttershy has always had difficulty with love. She gets into her own head, worries that she isn't doing enough for her partner, and ends up getting too stressed out to enjoy it. She would rather just avoid romance.

Rainbow Dash thinks she just needs to find a pony she doesn't feel that way about, so she sets her up with Pinkie Pie to try again.
