It’s that day of the year again <3. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are just spending time with each other for another Hearth’s Warming Eve. Meanwhile both of them went out to go to Pinkie’s party as they do every year. Fluttershy has a special present to give to her special somepony Rainbow Dash as well as her having a present for Fluttershy. But the real gift they have with each other is love and passion.

In a land far away in a castle age universe, Fluttershy is the Princess. She is to be wed, but, she, unfortunately, hates dislikes her suitor. For, she is hopelessly in love with one of her slaves: a Pink mare by the name of Pinkie Pie. She has no way of telling her the way she feels without being caught by her personal guard and being scolded for conversing with the slaves for reasons other than to boss them around.

But, an opportunity arises during the Festival of a New Cycle: to celebrate the kindom reigning successfully for yet another year. Fluttershy asks a question she thought was impossible to ask a slave...

"May I have this dance?"

Winter, for some ponies a fun time of the year where they get to play in the snow and skate on the ice. For some ponies, winter is but a bothersome time of year when the snow gets in their way and they try to keep warm each day. For Fluttershy, it is a lonely time of year, a time where she feels as empty as her house.

Each winter day, each and every year when the winter season comes, Fluttershy awakens to loneliness. This year though, things are slightly different. This year, she has somepony beside her to listen to her pains and try to fill the void of loneliness.

My parents must've thought I was pretty helpless too for them to leave me. I think everyone thinks I'm helpless to some extent. I was so sheltered during my life at the orphanage. I admit, it was nice being taken care of and knowing that I was safe. But I wanted to be more than that filly who would just stay in her room all day, waiting for something interesting to happen in her life. I wanted to take action and prove I was anything but helpless. That lead me to do something no one saw coming...

Applejack and Fluttershy are a happy couple who just moved in with each other. With everything unpacked and sorted out, the girls spend some quality time together before their friends arrive for their housewarming party.
