Chapter 3
Everypony's jaws practically hit the floor. Twilight stepped forward. “Son? What do you mean he’s your son?”
“I found him when he was just an egg. I hatched him, I’ve been raising him, and he called me Momma. That makes Buggy my son” Fluttershy said.
“Listen sugarcube, I know that you think your that Changelings mother, but the truth is that he’s most likely using you as a food source” Applejack interjected.
“No! Buggy loves me, and I love him!” Fluttershy held Buggy in front of everypony. “Just look at that face. Does he really look harmful?” Buggy gave them all a wide-eyed look.
Twilight looked at the young Changeling. “Fluttershy, you understand every living thing better than any pony. But the Changelings are a threat to Equestria. Look at what they did to Cadance and my brother”
“Twilight is right” Rainbow Dash said. “That thing is a menace! Besides, you have bad habit of attracting pest. First the Parasprites, then the Vampire Fruit Bats, and now this!?”
Fluttershy began to cry. “How dare you call Buggy a pest! You judge him based on what other Changelings have done? I thought you were my friends, but clearly I was wrong”
Rarity took a step forward. “Darling we are your friends. It’s just that we can’t trust that...thing” Rarity cringed as she pointed at Buggy.
Buggy broke out crying. He flew out of Fluttershy’s hooves and then flew out the door to Sugar Cube Corner.
“Buggy wait!” Fluttershy shouted. But Buggy was gone. Fluttershy fell to the floor and cried hysterically.
Angel Bunny hopped over to Fluttershy. He nudged her side to get her attention. Fluttershy lifted her head to look at Angel Bunny, who was rubbing his stomach and pointing to his mouth, demanding food. Fluttershy’s face turned from one of sadness to anger. “How dare you! You’re the reason that Buggy was exposed in front of everypony in the first place, and now you demand that I cater to you? You are a terrible pet Angel Bunny! Why couldn’t you just get along with Buggy? Now he’s gone and lost, and I may never see him again, and it’s all your fault! I never want to speak to you ever again!” Fluttershy then took off running out the door. Angel Bunny just sat there in shock, then lowered his head in shame.
Pinkie Pie walked in front of Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash. Her mane and tail were deflated. “I am so disappointed you guys. We are supposed to represent harmony and friendship. But then you go and attack Fluttershy for showing harmony and friendship to Buggy. Buggy did nothing wrong, and you still treated him badly. You should be ashamed of yourselves!”
Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash felt terrible. They had all acted horribly towards Fluttershy and Buggy, and they knew it.
“We could’ve at least given Buggy a chance” Twilight said. “I mean, Fluttershy was able to reform Discord. I guess I was just blinded by my personal prejudice after what happened to my brother and Cadance”
Applejack looked towards the others. “Pinkie is right. What we did was horrible. We shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions about Buggy like we did”
“Fluttershy is the kindest pony I know. If she says Buggy is good, then he must be” Rarity said as she wiped a tear away from her face.
Rainbow Dash let out a sad sigh. “ I was way too harsh on Fluttershy. And I can’t believe I almost attacked a baby, even if it is a Changeling. Some friend I am.”
Twilight then stood up straight with a serious look on her face. “Well we can’t fix anything standing around feeling sorry for ourselves. Come on girls, let’s go help Fluttershy find Buggy!”
Pinkie Pie’s face lit up as her mane and tail became poofy again. “Let’s go, go, go!” The five ponies then ran out to find Fluttershy.
Fluttershy ran crying into the Everfree forest. She could not believe how insensitive her friends were towards Buggy. Fluttershy was especially upset at Angel Bunny. She had put up with his bad attitude in the past, but this time he had taken things too far.
“Buggy! Where are you!?” Fluttershy called out. She had to find him. Fluttershy was well aware of the the dangers lurking in the Everfree forest. She feared Buggy might get hurt, or worse.
Fluttershy then heard footsteps coming from behind her. She turned around and found herself surrounded by three Timberwolves. The Timberwolves backed Fluttershy up against a tree, growling and baring their teeth. Fluttershy trembled with fear.
Suddenly, a blast of energy struck one of the Timberwolves, blowing it to pieces. Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie all ran to Fluttershy’s aid.
Applejack and Rainbow Dash went after the 2nd Timberwolf. Applejack used her rope to catch it by the leg. Rainbow Dash then took the rope and flew around fast enough to tie up the Timberwolf’s legs, causing it to fall to the ground and break into pieces.
Rarity and Pinkie Pie took care of the 3rd Timberwolf. Rarity used her magic to blind the Timberwolf with a roll of fabric. by the time the Timberwolf tore off the fabric, Pinkie Pie had set up her party canon. With one shot the Timberwolf was blasted to pieces.
Twilight and the others rushed to Fluttershy’s side. “Fluttershy are you alright?” Twilight said with a look of concern. She helped Fluttershy get back on her hooves.
“Yes, I’m...I’m ok” Fluttershy replied, her voice still trembling with fear. “But what are all of you doing out here?”
“We came looking for you” Rainbow Dash said. “We all wanted to apologize for the way we reacted to Buggy. We’re your friends, and what we did was uncalled for. Can you ever forgive us?”
Fluttershy smiled a little. “Of course I can. You’re my best friends in the whole world. But I need your help to find Buggy. I’ve searched high and low, but I can’t find him anywhere. I’m so worried”
Twilight put her hoof on Fluttershy’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, we’ll find him”
“I reckon that might a while” said Applejack. “The Everfree forest is huge. It’ll be like trying to find a needle in a haystack” Unbeknownst to the Mane 6, the remains of the 3 Timberwolves began to merge together.
Rarity felt a hot breeze on the back of her neck. She turned around and her eyes went wide. “Um, girls? I think we have a problem” The others turned around to see a massive Timberwolf standing before them. It snarled, barring it’s razor sharp teeth.
Fluttershy, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack all found themselves with nowhere to run. They huddled together as the Timberwolf moved closer. Suddenly, the ground began to shake, as if something huge was approaching. The trees parted as a colossal Ursa Major step forward, dwarfing the Timberwolf. The Ursa Major let a defining roar that blew the leaves right off of the trees. The Timberwolf tucked it’s tail and ran, disappearing in a cloud of dust. The Ursa Major looked down at the Mane 6. Green flames surrounded it, revealing that it was Buggy in disguise.
“BUGGY!” Fluttershy shouted. she rushed over to Buggy and scooped him up in her front legs, hugging him tight. Tears of joy ran down her face.
“Momma!” Buggy replied with a smile. He nuzzled Fluttershy and inhaled her love. The others rushed over and joined Fluttershy in giving Buggy a group hug.
“Fluttershy that was amazing!” Twilight said with excitement. “I had no idea a baby Changeling could disguise itself as something so big”
“Well, he is my special little boy” Fluttershy said with a smile.
Rainbow Dash approached Buggy. “Um, listen Buggy. I’m sorry for trying to attack you earlier. I was wrong about you. That was one of the bravest things I’ve ever seen. Friends?” Rainbow Dash extended her hoof. Buggy just smiled and booped her on the nose. Rainbow Dash giggled. “I’ll take that as a yes”
There was a rustling sound coming from the bushes. The Mane 6 all turned to see what it was. Angel Bunny appeared, his head lowered.
“Angel Bunny, what are you doing out here?” Fluttershy asked. Angel Bunny approached the group. He raised his head. It was obvious that he had been crying. He then offered Fluttershy a flower. “That’s sweet of you Angel Bunny, but I’m not the one you need to apologize to. Buggy is” Buggy and Angel Bunny looked at each other. Buggy then hugged Angel Bunny. “Apology accepted” said Fluttershy.
Everypony escorted Fluttershy, Buggy, and Angel Bunny back to her cottage. Fluttershy wished them all goodnight. Fluttershy carried Buggy in one of her front legs as she took him to his crib. She tucked him in and kissed him on the cheek. “Goodnight my sweet little darling” Buggy yawned and shut his eyes. Fluttershy took one last look back at Buggy before leaving his room. She thought about how she had been a mother like figure to the critters of Equestria, but now she was a mother in the truest sense of the word. “I found you for a reason, and I’m proud to call myself your mom” Fluttershy thought to herself.

This has to have a sequel, otherwise this would be awfull short. I think you can do more with the story, this is more like a very nice prologue.
What i mean is, it somehow feels like the story had just started.
I like it, but it is not enough to consider a favourite, mostly because it is a bit rushed and short, or just short.
I get what Fluttershy is feeling at that moment... but they've been friends for years now. Years. They're probably the closest group of friends in Equestria! I feel like that line is out of place.
My point is that this story seems very rushed. I like it, but I could do with a bit more pacing.

What this story lacks in actual plot, it makes up for in FLUFF FLUFFING FLUFFITY FLUFF!!
The part with the Mane 6 was badly handled. Buggy is very clearly and obviously only an infant. Regardless of their dislike towards changelings, none of the Mane 6 would say "abandon a baby [anything at all]". And even the common "but he could grow up to be a monster like all the rest of his kind!" excuse sometimes seen in fiction is vastly out of character for them.
Buggy is also far too mature. He has a child's impetuousness, but other than that there's little to suggest that he's a baby or only a week old. He understood the conversation, took the form of a creature he never had the opportunity to see himself, and overall displays a disconcerting lack of childlike behavior.

Same can be said about dragons but that doesn't stop her from raising spike does it

This has the starts of a good story but it is a little rushed. Slow the whole thing down. Add some 'aww' moments and stop and descript what Buggy is doing how Fluttershy react etc. Two, slow down the turn around of the rest of the mane 6, have Twilight and Rainbow Dash bring up valid points about changeling and somepony else (most likely Pinkie) argue the other side. Add in Applejack playing the middle between the two side and you have an interesting scene. Three, remove the timber wolves unless you can turn them into an actual problem instead of something for Buggy to go god mode on.
