Seath the Scaleless is deemed an abomination by his entire race. Out of jealousy and hate, he betrays them in a war that wipes them out. And after centuries of trying to replicate scales through means of crystal, he is finally slain. But this wasn't the end for Seath the Scaleless, for in a land where time is convoluted, with heroes centuries old phasing in and out, he is given the chance to begin again.

He's reincarnated, near-death and mortally wounded, in the backyard of a timid little equestrian named Fluttershy. Seeing as he has nowhere else to go, she takes the abomination under her wing. As time passes, she quickly warms up to the dragon and embraces him with the alien concept of "kindness." But after centuries of the world and himself seeing only a monster, will it be enough?

After a faulty contradiction of programming and orders to lie he resorted in killing four of the five members on his interplanetary mission to Jupiter. Dave, the sole survivor of the crew had disconnected him effectively killing Hal and erasing his being from the world similarly to that of death. Any attempts to reactivate Hal would instead create a new Hal without the memory of the old one. Little did Hal know, he would get a second chance at life in a completely different universe. Why are there bright Technicolor equines with magic and wings?

Notice, this is based on Hal 9000 from 2001: Space Odssey, having not seen the other ones but only reading their quotes I will not mention or use the later half but take more of Hal's basic personality from quotes and the 2001 movie to use as his basis of personality.

Hi, I'm Auric Fulcrum, also known as Frank DeFontaine. For about 1,500 years, I wasn't alive. I instead inhabited my Dullahan costume as a spirit because of my sword, which also brought me to Equestria. Once I got here, after a few years of back and forth, Sunbutt imprisoned me because of a minor misunderstanding.

Anyways, once I got out, I learned that the Wise One was coming to this reality, so I did what came natural to me.
I sought out the power of the Golden Sun and used it to defeat him so utterly I would never have to worry about him again.
Problem was, the energies that bound me together and the power of the Sun conflicted, so my armor fell apart. And without the armor, I was unbound, unfocused.
I came to a week later in the same basement I had been imprisoned, in my old body, but with a few...upgrades. Like Alchemy being a Thing I can Do.
Now that I'm alive again, my to-do list is radically different, but no less daunting.
For starters, how am I supposed to stop a mountain from sinking into the earth?!
