Maybe, but it was really hammered in through the course of the fight the number of tricks that were up her sleeve. If she truly had so many, I'm she could have found one to use in the Chrysalis fight scene. All we saw instead was a standard laser for the most part. I'm not buying that the story is canonically correct by a longshot, but it isn't a bad thing. It certainly made for a more interesting fight.
