To escape from Tartarus is nearly impossible, even for one of great magical power. When you've lost your powers and are little more than a withered old centaur, it's even harder. But Tirek has a plan, one that will draw in a creature from a world where life is cheap, hats are plentiful, and gravel is king. Will the Spy take the opportunity to enjoy a well-earned vacation in this new world, or will he see the population of friendly, innocent ponies as just a fresh selection of backs to stab? It could be both!

(Takes place before the beginning of Season 9.)

Celestia. Luna. Greensmith "Greenie" Apple. Discord. Sombra. Chrysalis. Tirek.

These seven students at Queen Twilight's Friendship University are the Elements of Magic -- Sun, Moon, Earth, Chaos, Order, Love and Self. A year ago, they first came together to stop the deadly Diamond Queen from turning all of Equestria to beautiful crystal, and turn her back to Good Queen Rarity of the Crystal Empire. Now, plants are growing out of control all over Equestria, and violent storms have trapped the Changelings and the pegasi of Canterlot. Queen Twilight Sparkle summons the Elements of Magic to combat the new threat.

Written for the "Swapped Roles" contest, but it's unlikely that I'll get it done within the deadline of the contest.

Note that there are way too many characters for the character box, so I can't include them all. Sorry.

Crossover with Gatchaman II. As Gel Sadra is dying, her mother appears to her and tells her that part of Sosai X has escaped to another world, and she agrees to seek her redemption by going to that world to help that world's champions defeat the creature who destroyed her life and made her a monster.

Meanwhile, Discord is monitoring Equestria for a dimensional incursion...

(Just to be absolutely clear, this is not Displaced. The human crossover character is herself, not someone who was cosplaying as her and got turned into her.)

As the only stallion to bear an Element of Harmony, Choco Pie, the Element of Laughter, has always felt a bit like the odd one out. But when the crazed spirit of Chaos, Eris, breaks free from her stone prison and starts playing mind games with the Mane 6, Choco becomes afraid he's going to crack completely. Because for some reason, the pink draconequus has singled him out to torment above all the others. And if what she's saying is true... well, it can't be true. She's the spirit of Chaos and Disharmony. Obviously she's just messing with him. Because if it was true... then his whole life would have been a sham, and his friendships a hollow lie... and it would be his own fault.

After dying in a predictably stupid car accident, a human wakes up paralyzed and unable to see or feel anything... which seems reasonable for the aftermath of an argument with a truck, until Celestia starts talking and he figures out that he's dreaming that he's Discord. And then the Elements set him free and he figures out no, actually, this isn't a dream. Begins right before "Keep Calm and Flutter On", and the first few chapters crib a lot of dialogue from that.

Not Displaced, but it is one of those "human wakes up in the body of an Equestrian supervillain" stories. However. Fellow Discord fans. Trust me, I'm not gonna write a story about our boy where the real thing never makes an appearance. The actual Discord will show up sooner or later. Also not a self insert, as should be obvious if you listen to the main character talk about himself for about 30 seconds.

This is a commission for The Bird, but the original story idea was mine and I take credit for everything except the impetus to actually write the damn thing.

Tags are a complete guess, I actually have no idea how to tag this thing.

Fluttershy is dying of cancer. Twilight has to stay strong, and to keep Discord from falling apart, because there's no one else who can.

Episode tag/companion to "Discordant Harmony". Written in second person for some inexplicable reason. In the course of trying to make sure Fluttershy is impressed by his tea party, Discord discovers some things. Some of them are good things. Some of them are very much not.

A reboot of Waking Nightmares, taking the story in a different direction.

Celestia has been suffering from nightmares and her sister Luna cannot seem to stop them. Alongside this, the dreaded Queen Chrysalis has been caught and is finally standing trial, several world leaders attending to help decide her fate. On top of all this, nine ponies and a dragon have appeared, claiming to have been transformed and sent to Equestria by an insane wizard.

What else can go wrong?

Peace has found Equestria once more, and they have had their Queen of the Night returned to them! But a dark figure who looms over Equestria's past returns to the present: Discord. The chimerical despot over Equestria in a bleaker age threatens to throw the stable regime into a dominion of anarchy. Worse still, he has removed his one weakness, the Elements of Harmony, from the equation. How will Twilight Sparkle defeat the draconequus deity without the Elements of Harmony? How will her and her friends stay in unity without the Elements? And what connection does Discord have to Equestria's Queens...?

This is a story about Fluttershy's birthday, the very special gift she receives, and the dark secret she learns not long afterwards.

It's also a story about Starlight Glimmer's long and painful recovery after a terrifying accident, and the emotional fallout that happened as a result.

It's also a story about Discord's visit to the Changeling Kingdom, and how drastically things have changed there - and how things have unfortunately stayed the same.

It's also a story about Thorax fighting for his life against an amalgamate of a twisted god and a dear friend.

And as all four stories join together, it becomes a different tale altogether - a tale of learning to accept things that come to pass, and the dangers of rejecting them.

I've tried something a bit unusual (for me) here. There are four protagonists, and the story is somewhat non-chronological. Chapters are listed as a number before a decimal place and a number after the decimal place (e.g. 2.6, 3.2, etc.); the number before the decimal place refers to who's the protagonist at that point in time, and the number after the decimal place refers to the "chapter" of their story. The stories seem separate at first, but will link together into a bigger picture at then end (which I haven't released, yet - stay tuned!)
