It's been two weeks since the defeat of Nightmare Moon. Two weeks since six unexpected ponies became heroes that saved not only Ponyville, but all of Equestria. And in those two weeks Spike "Purple Prose" Flail, ace reporter for the Canterlot Sun, has had plenty of time to get into the swing of his new home in the small town. Life seems good...

Until a new pony blows into town. A specter from Spike's past that isn't willing to let him just have his "happily ever after." A certain ex-student of Princess Celestia herself that Spike hasn't thought of in ages.

One who's particularly eager to show how little a "hero" Spike is.

Inspired by the story image, RainbowDoubleDash's Lunaverse and Trinary's "Rainbooms and Royalty", I give you my take on the alternate universe concept. Namely, a universe where Spike is the pony and Twilight is his dragon assistant.

The thousandth Summer Sun Celebration is approaching. With it will come the return of Nightmare Moon. Celestia has no student to call upon to save Equestria, and is doing all she can to make the last day of peace meaningful for her people.

Meanwhile, Spike "Purple Prose" Flail is a reporter for the Canterlot Sun. He finds himself being shipped down to the boonies with his longtime friend and assistant, Twilight, to cover the biggest festival Equestria has seen in a millennium!

But even with a visit from the princess, there's no way someplace as boring as Ponyville could ever be newsworthy. Right?

(Humanized) Vincenza Scratch, AkA Vinyl for her friends, AKA DJ-PON3 on stage, 22 years old. The DJ found herself in one of the low periods of her young career, probably the lowest and longest she ever experienced so far; writer's block, out of ideas for a new genre of music as her 'classic' electronica seems to go out of the crowd fashion, less and less attendance to her gigs, etc.

Starting to run low on money, She gets in touch with one of her mother's friend in the capital, Vito Philharmonica; Member of the board of one of the most prestigious private high school. Vito offers her a place to stay and a job to help her to get back on track : A music teacher job for a Highschool senior class, which includes Vito's own daughter, Octavia.

How's Vinyl going to teach to a bunch of teenagers when she's barely older than them? ( and probably not much more mature as well). And when other teachers and some of her students look down at her for being a 'simple' DJ? One answer, Becoming the GTVS: THE GREAT TEACHER VINYL SCRATCH! (Yes inspired by GTO, one of the coolest manga ever)

Pipsqueak is a notorious trouble-making freshman at Canterlot High School. Though his artwork is beautiful, he chooses to express his negative emotions through this talent in the form of graffiti. When he's called into Vice Principal Luna's office once again, this time eligible for expulsion unless certain conditions are met, will he be able to stay at CHS, or will he have to once again try to seek a home elsewhere?

Wolves, loyal, honored, cunning, like their tribal ancestors were, have formed an empire of brethren. During the age of expansion, a scout ship among the seas landed on the ground of another great civilization. This was the the land of Equestria. As the team began diplomatic relations with the local population, their iron-fisted leader, Discord, immediately declared war on the empire, sending his captive ponies as worriers. The war ended when the twin goddesses dethroned the dictator. Our story begins about one thousand years after the end of the war as the olive branch of peace could be in grasp of the two nations.

Ever Since Fluttershy adopted him, Lightning Twister's new life couldn't be any better. He has a loving and caring mother, great friends, a special somepony, and a loving family. However his new life is in jeopardy when he becomes the target of a villain nopony ever thought they would see again. Can the main six protect Lightning as well as the rest of Equestria.

It has been several months since Lightning Twister was foalnapped and held captive by his father. Now he's back home with Fluttershy and the rest his loving family. Lightning's new life is going great and now he wants to take his very special somepony out for a date.

As one of the worst storms that Ponyville has ever had rages outside, Fluttershy must try to comfort Lightning Twister as his fear of storms get the best of him.
