A year has passed since that ugly crystal tree-castle grew up in the middle of Ponyville. Nopony can convince me otherwise, and I've made my opinion known to Twilight. We had our adventures, we had our fun, but now, it's back to normal. Things have settled, some for the better, but most for... the worst.

The Orchard is in bad shape. Granny is in bad shape. And since January, I haven't had so much as a day off. Too much work, not enough ponies to do it, and no extra money to get help, it all seems to be swirling around the drain. Course, that's just the status quo. Now that a mare has walked into my brother's life, things are only bound to get a lot worse.

Set in my 'Bright Future' universe which diverges from canon after season 4.

Many ponies have lately disappeared in the Ever Free forest and people are getting worried. a group of volunteers go out into the forest to try and find the ponies that went missing, but instead find something much more dangerous.

However, when her interest seems to be oblivious to her feelings will she find the inner strength to admit her true feelings to the one she desires? Or will disaster follow her at every turn? Starlight Glimmer has never been very good at the whole 'friendship' thing. Her track record speaks for itself about her poor decision making in the past and all the heartache that has come from her mistakes. She is determined to do better with Twilight Sparkle and her new friends in Ponyville.

Except that Starlight is not very good at learning from her mistakes.

She's got a plan. She's also got a problem: Suddenly, she's not the only one whose day is repeating. And when you're caught between unstoppable force and immovable object, life has a tendency to get complicated.

This story is an authorized alternate-universe re-imagining of Eakin's Hard Reset, in which multiple loopers turn the time shenanigans up to 11. (Knowledge of Hard Reset is not required, but based on reader comments, will help in sorting out the early chapters.)

Hawthornbunny has posted a chapter-by-chapter breakdown of all the loops, including the ones we don't see, with a lot of critical analysis. Those links contain spoilers (of currently posted chapters). Publication schedule: 2014 kicked my plot, but as of November I'm picking up the writing again and hope to have something by the end of the month.
