There are some things that time cannot heal, some wounds that life won't let us forget. These are the scars that are bare for the world to see, and they are reminders that no matter how happy we once were, we are no longer. But still Rainbow Dash takes the trips that festers the wounds and opens the scars, because no matter how awful she feels, forgetting would be worse.

I have battled demons, defeated gods, and deciphered mysteries that the Princesses themselves doubted could be unlocked. All of that was just the beginning to a grand adventure.

As the daylight fades away, Twilight is faced with the ultimate decision. In front of her is a friend, behind her is the past, and in the middle is she, the mistress of magic. And now, all she has to do is make the ultimate decision.

Who is Scootaloo? Everypony knows about her present, but when it comes to her past there are as many different answers as there are questions.

Is she the love child of two star-crossed lovers? The last hope for the future? The child of a broken home? A mysterious figure fighting a war no pony knows about? Or is it something else entirely? Is she even a pony at all?

Twilight Sparkle decides to ask everypony in Ponyville and find out about Scootaloo...and the stories, rumors and gossip she gets will leave her wondering how the truth can ever compete with fiction.
