It's been nine months since the wedding in Canterlot and the changeling race was defeated and all is well. Until Queen Chrysalis returns with very surprising news.

She is nine months pregnant!

But why does she come back just because of that? Because she says one of the ponies she touched/was touched by during the wedding is the one who got her pregnant.

Changelings don't reproduce the way ponies or any other creature does. So even two females can have a baby together. So who is the daddy/other mother? Is it Shining Armor? She did have lots of contact with him. Cadance? She was the one Chrysalis captured. Twilight? Technically they did share a small amount of contact. Or... could it honestly be Princess Celestia?!

One of these four is the other parent to this unborn changeling/pony hybrid. And now they won't know who until after the foal is born. But each one is conflicted about what they will do if it is theirs.

And each one puts a little effort into trying to be nice with their possible-baby's-momma. And they get to know the Queen of changelings a little more. And there's a lot more than they thought there was...

A week before her wedding, Cadance receives a letter from one of her exes for a rendezvous. Cadance agrees to meet her, hoping to catch up with her old friend, but the meeting takes a turn for the worst.

A refined mare fresh out of high school and a dropout following her dreams find themselves forced to spend a lot of time together.

Canterlot is abuzz with wedding preparations, and the skies are abuzz with gossamer wings. Queen Chrysalis’ invasion of the city is imminent. Not all of her children are quite so gung-ho about the whole taking-over-Equestria thing, however, and amid the bustle and confusion, one little drone makes a grab for freedom.

He might even succeed, if his growing collection of eclectic new friends have anything to say about it.

Set during and after S2's “A Canterlot Wedding”.

While several canon characters have some major parts to play, this story is predominantly OC-centric. We started writing this purely for our own amusement, but maybe some of you fine folks will enjoy it too.

My unicorn parents called me a worthless mud pony. They pushed me every day to overcome my lowly status. When I woke up one morning with my cutie mark, I thought they would love me. I couldn’t have been farther from the truth.

It was not destiny or enjoyment that led me to discover the cello and composing. My parents made that decision, deciding before I was born I would continue their family legacy of famous musicians.

They did not realize what that decision would cost them.

Vinyl Scratch wants to put the past behind her as she starts her new life at Equestria United Community College. But can she overcome that past to get along with her new classically inclined roommate Octavia and learn new ways to enjoy and express music with the Equestrian Girls, the local A Cappella group of EUCC?

Yes, I know, it sounds an awful lot like some other american movie *cough cough* Pitch Perfect *cough cough*, but I couldn't help it! I watched the movie, all I thought of was that Beca was their DJ, and we had our own. So while I did get a lot of inspiration from the movie, this will have a few of it's own twists and turns.

Two side-notes to make: One, thanks to Gwg for the editing and some suggestions for this story! Two, this story takes place in the same universe as the rest of my stories, but happens 4 years before Twilight first comes to Ponyville. ENJOY!
