For five years, Cozy Glow, Tirek, and Chrysalis were trapped in stone. But now, they have been mysteriously freed! Desperate not to lose her newfound freedom, Cozy Glow finds herself on the run as everypony in Equestria tries to find her. Wanting something to confide in, she starts keeping a diary, and in it she records her adventures trying to survive in a world where nopony wants to be her friend. But nopony can guess what her destiny has in store for her.

It's been 20 years that Cozy Glow has been encased in stone. She has had plenty of time to herself to think about the things she's done. Is she going to better herself from them?

...The answer is a big fat NO! Why would she ever wish to redeem herself? She could've had everything and in days it was stripped away from her, stuck permanently rooted in cold, hard stone. And through the last few decades, she's been all by herself, and has been perfectly capable of plotting her gruesome revenge... Luckily for her, she has a good idea of how to get out of this eternal prison, with or without her 'buddies.'

Regardless of how every pony thinks; Cozy Glow is going to come back. And when she does, may Celestia have mercy on your soul.

A thousand years ago in Equestria, Luna's frustration and desperation has been building for years and years as her social and political isolation grows, but just before Luna's jealousy and resentment can turn into murderous hatred against her sister, a new event triggars Luna's mental collapse and pushes her over the edge. When Luna by circumstance finds herself alone in Celestia's room she reads her sister's diary out of curiosity and discovers all of the disparaging criticism that Celestia has leveled at her over the years about how much of a nuisance Luna has been to her, but has been too polite to say directly to Luna's face.

Luna and Celestia had always supported and stuck with each other all their lives. Even when the common-ponies critisism and shunning of her was at its worst, the knowledge that her sister loved her kept Luna going. The realization that nopony, not even her own sister valued her or thought she was fit for the throne completely shattered whatever remained of her fragile psyche.

And so Luna just gave up...

She gave in...

If no one wanted her there...

Then she wouldn't stay there...

She would leave.

Rescued from her horrible parents by Twilight and Rainbow, Scootaloo begins a long journey of recovery from the years of mental and physical abuse. Now Rainbow’s and Twilight’s adopted daughter, she looks forward to what the future has in store for her. However, Scootaloo's happiness and her life are at risk now that her parents have escaped from prison, fully intent on revenge.

Meanwhile, Rainbow and Twilight try to make their relationship work as they face the difficulties of raising a filly together. To accomplish their dream of a happy family, they all must face numerous challenges that will test the strength of their love and friendship.

Despite all the strides in friendship made between species, Twilight never reached out to the zebras the same way, leaving them in the shadows with their only zebra isolated from the others. Upon an accidental slipup during a royal address about said zebra, Twilight and her nation pay a very heavy price.

The neighboring kingdom of Aurora lays to the north of Equestria has always been reclusive. Much like there Queen Eventide, even through there generations of isolationism the diarchy of Equestria has always tried to form relations to no avail.
Queen Eventide had always respectfully decline the many invitations sent by Celestia. Mandatory meeting of the kingdoms was always visited by a trusted representative, and dispatching hardly sincere apologies as she declined to attend the celebrations. Yet to the princesses surprise the queen accepted to attend this years Grand Galloping Gala, why now of all celebrations?
Eventide, the queen, is a unicorn. As was her husband, King Astrid, who has sadly passed. And she to will pass on one day. The royal pony sisters had always wondered why she had not chosen a heir to assend to the throne on the day of her passing. But they didn't know of her only child, her heir. With all the changes ongoing in Maretime Bay, Sprout decides to run away before he can be "brought to justice". But even though he does just that, he has no destination in mind.

Alone with his thoughts, Sprout is suddenly approached by a mysterious force that offers to be his friend. And this "friend" quickly convinces Sprout that his former friends can no longer be trusted, convincing Sprout to turn on them.

Imagine the shock of Sunny and the gang when Sprout suddenly morphs into a threat that Equestria hasn't seen in ages: The Pony of Shadows! And amidst the uncertainty of having to fight such an evil to save a friend, the five ponies receive help from the most unlikely of faces.

Anonymous leaves Ponyville to pursue a quiet office job in Manehattan. While he finds the possibility of new love in his future, he finds that his past from Ponyville isn't willing to give him up so easily. Some mares just don't know when to stop.

Who will Anon choose? His past life, Fluttershy? The mysterious Autumn? Or, perhaps the troubled Mulberry?

There is no way Rainbow Dash isn’t the fastest pony. No way. So how did Derpy beat her? How? Scootaloo must find out how this travesty happened. Clearly somepony is cheating.

In a perfect world, things would have been different. But Equestria isn't perfect.
