People will do anything to distract themselves from their problems. In an age where the situation could be both a hundred times worse and a thousand times better, there are still stories floating around. You know the type: a young human gets snatched from his/her homeworld and dropped in a land far from home, and they have to either shape up or ship out before it's too late.

Replace "human" with "Reploid", and you have a good idea what's happened to me. This land of Equestria is as completely alien to me as I am to its residents. If I can't return home then I'll have to figure out how to adapt to its environs, but my time and options are running out quickly. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm getting desperate.

After breefly seeing five young mares at their honoring ceremony. Just barely some hours after they averted a recent threat, she decides to taste her luck and aproach them in friendship - after all friendship is a kind of harmony, isn´t it?

An alicorn seen as an omnipotent goddess by her subjects. Approaching five seemingly ordinary mares...what could possibly go wrong about that....

G5, it's ponies and events are seen as uncannon and never to be happened (or happening) for this story and it's arc. Familiar names used are solely for the purpose of "Royal Friendship" and it's separate alternate universe storyline.

Twilight Sparkle was born on the moon, 999 years before the 1000th summer sun celebration. Her mother, Princess Luna, trains her and teaches her to be the perfect ruler. Her plan is to stop this Nightmare and be happy.

Of course, Twilight gets released early, and has to face this whole new world without her mother. At least it will be a while before Celestia finds her and finds out her motives, or will it?

Twilight will have to deal with things she definitely wasn't trained for, including a possible love interest?

During a friendly, casual visit to Canterlot Palace, Twilight asks Celestia a question many ponies have likely pondered for years.

Why is she a Princess and not a Queen?

And Twilight receives her answer in the form of a story, long lost to the passage of time. A story about the true Queen of Equestria, an alicorn known to be as the first ever created. Her name, Queen Athena, the Queen of Harmony.

Well, this is honestly just me being bored out of my mind, and putting some dazzle into a comment I wrote on an awesome fic called "Not my Destiny". Check that out. It's way, WAY better than this.

Really, though. I hope you enjoy this (if you are actually curious enough to want to read it), because I've seriously done only two other fics, and neither of those are even finished yet.

When Twilight gets an advance preview of what she'll look like a few years after ascending the throne, she is not impressed. Can a certain special (soon to be not so) little guy help her see the future might not all be that bad, after all?

Let's find out, shall we?

Celestia leaves to deal with a foreign crisis, giving her sister a chance to rule alone and become more attached to the modern world. She calls on Twilight Sparkle to advise Luna, hoping her student will be able to draw Luna out of her shell. With two major threats to Equestria already defeated in the past year, it seems like the perfect time to let Luna gain some confidence and experience in the modern world. After all, what are the chances of a third disaster occurring?

Now comes with complimentary tropes.

This is the story of Kitzumi Nova Nightfoal Silvermane, and how she deals with the outcome of a spell gone horribly wrong. Kitzumi, known as Kitzu or Kizu by her friends, by means not entirely understood, somehow manages to go back in time, and finds herself in the ruined castle of the Two Sisters where she is found by Twilight Sparkle. Twilight is astonished that such a young filly would be so far out in the forest, and even more so when Kitzu identifies Twilight as her mother.

Kitzu is now faced with having to live in a past were no one knows her, and Kitzu isn't like other ponies either. Kitzu is part enchanted fox. A fox pony to be exact. Not only that but she has both wings, having been born a pegasus, and a small horn that's barely noticeable when she first arrives in the past. Just a pegasus with a button horn. How well will she cope with her situation, what will Twilight do now that a foal has been suddenly dropped in her lap? Not to mention the paradox of raising a foal who hasn't even been born yet. To make things even more complicated Kitzu is afraid of Princess Celestia while looking to Princess Luna as a second mother. It wouldn't be long before Luna finds herself doing everything she can to help Twilight.

There have been a few minor alterations for the sake of clarity, and with any luck I've found the majority of the issues. And to be honest I really didn't find a lot. I've lost track of how many times I've been over this and everything else, and quite frankly, yes there are probably more mistakes I've missed, and at this point .... take it as is because it's not really worth the trouble for something I'm not getting paid for. If I was, it would have professional readers and editors. Some of the best story tellers in history never worried about whether or not they had everything perfect.

Day Roark is used to odd things happening to him, but he never expected that he'd wake up in the middle of a forest on an alien planet doomed to destruction. He also never expected to witness the death of a goddess who names herself Celestia. In the final hour before her death, Celestia makes the choice to send him back to the Equestria of her youth, back billions of years to when magic still called Equus home and she could care for her subjects. But why does he have such a strong link to the Everfree? And why does she send him, an unknown human, back to her youth - before ponykind outgrew their home and left for the stars?

The Everfree holds many secrets and Day just received the keys.
