Manehattan's Lone Guardian -- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS · 4:48am Nov 12th, 2023
First, some mood music:
I'm feeling somewhat better after Friday and I've had this brewing in my mind today, so below is a few of the questions I've been asked regarding Manehattan's Lone Guardian since I began two years ago. Some are frequently, others not so much, but either way I think they still have relevancy.
This may be updated as time goes on. We'll see.

Is this a "Displaced"-style story?
Only in the sense that the one transferred to Manehattan is a fish out of water. The Leviathan we see in the story is the real deal, victimized by Omega's final explosion at the end of Mega Man Zero 3. This isn't a person in a magical costume with a prop weapon.
You've been using the "Meikai Gundan", or Deep Sea Squadron, emblem as a scene breaker. Why does it look distorted?
In earlier chapters and in a few recent ones, I used the emblem in varying conditions as an indicator of what Leviathan's health--whether physical, mental, or emotional--had been at that point. After returning to peak performance, the emblem shows up clear and bright.
Are any other characters from the Mega Man franchise going to be appearing?
If by that you're asking if they're going to be joining Leviathan in Equestria mid-story, then no. They might be showing up in flashbacks or similar, but none of them made the journey there, and barring the very end (maybe, and that's a BIG maybe), I wouldn't be counting on them showing up.
GET ME OUT OF HERE! WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU, YOU AUTHORIOUS CRETIN?!
...I know that's you, Illudere. Whatever's going on in there, you deserve every bit of it. Now stop talking to me like this. I've got a blog to finish.
Is Gray Ghost's power-set broken?
No. I won't go into detail here what her abilities are if you haven't read the story yet, but I can guarantee you that any of the Mane 6 at their best have a good chance of taking her in a fight (yes, that includes Fluttershy). And that's without getting into any of the show's major antagonists, or the psychological issues she has. If her power-set was truly broken, no one would be able to stop her.
Why are you focusing so much on these other characters?
Because there's more than one side to every story. If you focus on one person to the exclusion of everyone else, you're not getting the complete picture. If you want the first viewpoint character you see to be the only one whose perspective matters, this isn't the story for you.

Aaaaand I think that's all of the ones coming to mind. If there's any others I'm missing, please let me know and I'll edit this accordingly. Ciao mein, everyone!
