Actual plot synopsis: It's the premiere of Mare Do Well: The Movie! Or it would have been, if the whole shebang wasn't interrupted by an invasion by Tempest Shadow. Now, with all of their regular allies captured or conveniently unavailable, it's up to our regular group of semi-sociopaths (Sunset, Trixie, Lightning Dust, Gilda, Suri, Flim, Flam) to go find the hippogriffs and save Equestria. Or give up in frustration and move somewhere else instead. It could go either way, really.

Three new students terrorize Canterlot High with hypnotizing music… and much to the frustration of the Dazzlings, it’s not them. Instead, the Shadowbolts (Nightmare Moon ones) have opted to grab their pendants and try to enact the ‘take over the world’ plan themselves, forcing the sirens to try to save the world in order to take it over afterwards. Meanwhile, Twilight drags along a reluctant Sunset in trying to stop ANYONE from achieving world domination. The absurdity is back and as crazy as ever in this parody of Rainbow Rocks!

Unhappy with the result of her recent ascension, Sunset Shimmer heads to the Crystal Empire to see about fixing it. Much to her dismay, however, she instead ends up getting drawn into a completely unrelated subplot when her Element of Irony gets stolen and taken to an alternate world. It’s up to her to navigate this strange plane and get the Element back before time runs out… or before she just loses interest, whichever comes first.
