So, a year ago I posted that Friendship Is Absurd was nearing completion. As you might have noticed, it isn't complete yet.

It's really an issue with me. I keep meaning to get to this story and finally finish it and post it. But it seems every single time I try, I think "well, hang on, let's do this other thing first" and then I don't get back to the story. Now repeat that over and over and over and over until almost a year goes by. It's annoying.

So, been a while since the last blog post, and I figured it was time for another update. Not sure how many people are still interested in my silly little fanfic given how long it's gone without updating, but I will note that I have been working on it (although very, very slowly) and I think the first draft of the final chapter is finally, FINALLY done.

So, truth be told, for the last month or two I kind of haven't been working on Friendship Is Absurd... okay, even when I was working on it, it was at a slow pace. But I got busy and it kind of got pushed to the side.

But I'm back to working on it... hopefully. Yeah, I know this doesn't mean much, but I figured I should at least say that the story hasn't been completely abandoned. I know there are people who read this story and want to see how it ends, and I want to make sure they get it.

I'm not sure how much I like making blog posts that just say "don't worry, Friendship Is Absurd is still being worked on!" but I figure that I should at least tell people that it is being worked on, as without that they have no communication. Actually, the final chapter is mostly done, with me being on the "wrap-up" of the plot, which is unfortunately proving difficult to put together. Some rewriting is also going to be necessary to fix some things.
