There is more to some ponies then meets the eye. Some ponies are born as an Earth Pony, or a Unicorn, or a Pegasus. Some, however, are born as something else. Though on the outside they look and seem the same as any pony of the race they were born to, there is a something that is deeper. Something that very few of these ponies know about. And if they did, they would fear.

For, unbeknownst to them, Ragnarök is coming. And, unbeknownst to them, their very world is about to end, for their world, and the worlds of Asgard, are connected, and the Asgardians are powerless to stop it.

But, are the ponies so powerless?

Trouble Shoes. He's such a nice guy. He really is. He even has a nice job. What he doesn't have, is coordination and good luck. Like, seriously, what's up? The poor guy's house is still a mess, Appleloosa cringes every time he walks into town, and he can never win anything (not even Bingo).

Luckily for him, a rather odd, and somewhat new, friend has finally been moved with pity for him. Thus, on his behalf, and without his knowledge (or permission), has gone to ask for help from powers that no pony can hope to control. Mostly from a (mostly) insane Medicinebull.

There are stories that wind the long trail of complexity, treachery, and scale the mountains of mighty story telling. There are stories that redefine our very perceptions of who we are and what our meaning is in this word.

Needless to say, this is not one of those stories. No, this is a simple story. A simple story about two young humans falling in love.

Taylor, a simple man who works part-time, and Fluttershy, a simple woman who, with her friends, recently moved into town. Together they will learn that which all star destined lovers learn; what it means to finally, truly, and honestly, open one's heart to another.

Author's Note: This was written as a commission for an old friend many moons ago, in which commission they asked that I ship a mutual friend of ours with their favorite pony, Fluttershy. They wanted it simple, clean, and human. So, therefore, I present to you a relic of the past, written prior to season 2.

Simply put, Berry has bad breath. She's been known to go no less then one whole life-time without brushing or even flossing. The closest she ever comes is the occasional bottle of mouthwash she chugs (it's close enough when the party's run dry ... right?). However, deep, deep, deep down inside, past the Great Bay of Sherry, beyond the Bourbon Sound, and under the Gulf of Gin, lies a burning regret for this shameful act. After all, who drinks mouthwash? Oh, wait, the regret is for not brushing, ever. Simple mistake. Be that as it may, there is only one power in all of the universe that withstand breath so foul; that can cleanse evil so powerful.

And it's going to take a very long trip to get to it.
