I had almost forgotten about this one, which sucks because I love the way you write discord.

Yes! I've been waiting for this!

Out of everything I've read, in my opinion yours is the best representation of what Discord should be.
Why can't others see that death is ultimate stillness, something that Discord doesn't care for?

I did too, actually. But I was poking at my Fanfiction page today and realized that I hadn't uploaded this one here. Thanks for favin' it.

Thanks very much for that, then, I'm glad to hear you felt I did such a good job with it. I think it helps I kind of. Have a twisted view of a lot of things, it helps see around the corners sometimes.
Thanks for the fave, too.

:fluttercry: Sucks, I can't read this right now. Early tomorrow perhaps...
I bet it'll be good. As usual. :pinkiehappy:

I hope it lives up to your expectations, then. And thanks very much for the fave.

No words can explain. All of your work makes me feel, happy? sad? exited?
Great job. I hope you have a bunch more stories stacked away somewhere.. :pinkiehappy::heart:
And at the parts when Discord was telling us to wipe those looks off our face. Those were the faces I had! You can make people feel a certain way, or change their opinion on something; just by the way you write a character. I'ts awesome. You could write a novel! Like your story Absolution. over 400k words. Keep up the good(great?)work.

I think this is the last ponystory I had over at Fanfiction. I think. I actually forgot about posting this one up at first, after all. But I also just finished a new story today that now just needs to be edited and cleaned up a little, too, so. There'll always be more to read. But thanks very much: I've always believed characterization to be the strongest part of a story so that's what I always try and focus on, and I'm glad it tends to work out. I hope you continue to enjoy my crazy writing.

This was an amazing story. It fits so perfectly with how I see Discord as well, and the Nordic references were excellent. I also love the idea that Discord was actually the good guy somehow, much like "The Story of The THree Little Pigs According to the Big Bad Wolf." And...am I the only one thinking what Discord gave the pony was hope?

Thanks very much. I kind of just let things run rampant instead of sticking to too much of a controlled theme, and I'm glad it all worked out. Your answer, though... that's a very good one, considering what happens in the other stories that work with my Norse-references-everywhere universe. I like that a lot.

I too believe he gave us hope. The things that all want, that is always there when you need it the most.

I've been waiting to finally put in my two cents on this. For one, THANK YOU. You gave every true Discord fan alive a look into the heart of the chaos he is. You made it possible for us to understand: Discord isn't evil, he's just different. And when he escaped he really didn't care if he took over, it was more just an elaborate farewell. And in closing, I too believe Discord gave us Hope, the final spirit of Pandora's Box, and the thing that we all should cherish as Discord does.

I much appreciate it. Thanks for reading, and for the favorite as well. But I'm just really glad that this story came out as well as it did, to be honest. It's a little all over the map and it can be kind of hard to make all that chaos make sense while. Not making sense if you know what i mean. But I'm very happy to see so many people have been getting what I meant to get across and people are continuin' to enjoy it.

Well me friend you got what you were going for, have every face in the collection. :ajbemused::ajsleepy::ajsmug::applecry::applejackconfused::applejackunsure::coolphoto::derpyderp1::derpyderp2::derpytongue2::fluttercry::flutterrage::fluttershbad::fluttershyouch::fluttershysad::heart::pinkiecrazy::pinkiegasp::pinkiehappy::pinkiesad2::pinkiesick::pinkiesmile::rainbowderp::rainbowdetermined2::rainbowhuh::rainbowkiss::rainbowlaugh::rainbowwild::raritycry::raritydespair::raritystarry::raritywink::scootangel::trixieshiftleft::trixieshiftright::twilightangry2::twilightblush::twilightoops::twilightsheepish::twilightsmile::twistnerd::unsuresweetie::yay::trollestia::moustache::facehoof::eeyup::duck:

3041679 the life of Hades, Loki, nemesis, hecta and jannus all in a nutshell. hades is considered evil because he drew the short straw, Loki is considered evil for the same reason discord is, jannus and hecta, man thier not even evil and have to put up with the crap. man im glad im not a god, cause if i was god of something like life, death, or anything unnatural, HOLY CHRIST would there be a shit storm. besides that, great story.

They do often get the short end of the stick, certainly. I'm glad you enjoyed the story, though, and thanks kindly for the fave. It's always fun to work with Discord.

I still feel really bad for not reading all these the first time
I really missed out on some great writing

Unrelated, but I still wonder how you would have written Loki if he was a main character in the Edda. Would definitely be interesting, especially around the dragonequii

I'm glad you've been enjoying these little wanderings. And I kind of regret sometimes that I never was able to introduce a good Loki in these stories. That would have been interesting, with all the other crazies running around.
Thanks kindly for the fave of this story, too.

Wow, you certainly wrote Celestia as a cold hearted bitch in this. There's a bit of "Lavender Unicorn Syndrome" in this (especially the phrase "winged unicorn", but other than that, very solid.

I'm almost always hard on Celestia. I don't know why. Thanks very much.

Well, that was odd, but interesting all the same. Which seems fair for a Discord story.

Honestly, the whole "Discord was a harmless prankster whom Tyrantlestia imprisoned and slandered" retcon is the one thing about your series I've found a bit mean-spirited and unnecessary (shouldn't her nearly burning Equestria to the ground be enough reason for the other characters to knock her off her pedestal?) but getting to see this battle helps a bit with that. Celestia seems harsher than strictly necessary, sure, but one can see how she could get there while having her ultimate first-season self be recognizable.

I'm always pretty mean to Celestia, possibly because she scares me.
But at the same time, I do want her to be understandable, and someone people can empathize with, especially later on once I start getting into why she has a habit of... making mistakes as she does. She's really not a bad pony, at all. But she is... much harder than a lot of people expect to see.
Thanks very much for reading and for the fave of the story. I'm glad it was an enjoyable side-chapter to the series.

Good Story, very nicely written!! :pinkiehappy:

Thanks very much. I'm glad you were able to enjoy it.
