It's funny you call this bad simply because the red light saber exists. To be honest, it was a fun read. Premise is goofy, but you made it work with what you had. Couple missing words in sentences here and there (He was losing his following, for example) and using a number instead of spelling it out for small numbers like four, but other than that, nothing super glaring.

Let us be completely honest. Anyone who belives in either side of the two party system is nodding along with a fool. The US was not meant to be a two party system, literally was founded to not be one, and the only reason it continues to be one is because of single member districts and winner take all elections. This encourages the existence of two major parties, leaving smaller parties facing a great difficulty winning in any elective office. However I did not come here to disscuss the flaws facing the United States, nor debate how it could change for the better...I can to Fimfic to read fanfic and escape reality. As should you my friend.
