A few days after the restoration of magic, Sunny Starscout accepts an invitation to spend the night at La Villa Izzy following a visit to the newly livened Bridlewood. But while Sunny came prepared to spend the night on the floor, Izzy won't have it. Her bed is big, and she's never shared it with anyone before, and if there's room enough for both, then why should Sunny have to sleep anywhere else?

Unfortunately for Sunny, Izzy's not the soundest sleeper. Fortunately for Izzy, Sunny's there.

Lovely bit of fluff, especially how you turned a cheeky wink at the audience into a touching moment between these two. Thank you for it and best of luck in the judging.

Great to see you participating in my contest, and with Izzyscout especially! Looking forward to reading for the contest 🦄

Happy to contribute!

Sunny comforting Izzy—that's the good stuff.

She recalled a phrase her father had always said to her before bed each night, and decided it made as much sense as any for a possible lyric for the tune. "My little po ny , my little po ny..."

Of course
The well known theme song for mlp. Wonderful.

Well this was fantastic. Tonally feels like something the show might have, you know minus the shipping lol. Izzy is just so fantastically good in this.

Izzy's eyes opened. Her corona dimmed as she lost focus, and the tea kettle suddenly veered off in a tangent line and smashed against the wall.

Should've stopped before it got worse. :facehoof:

"It kinda was," Izzy replied, withdrawing her hoof and walking over to face Sunny. "I never really went into town much after I lost my parents," she sighed. "I tried to get along with other ponies, but I couldn't ever make anypony, well, happy. They were always just content to be miserable, no matter what I did." Her voice shifted into a whisper. "It's, uh, kinda my fault mayonnaise is a bad word. There were... incidents. " She made an uncomfortable whistling noise as Sunny giggled.

Poor Izzy. :fluttercry:

Izzy leaned in and kissed Sunny on the lips. Just for a brief few seconds, and yet... it seemed eternal.

:pinkiegasp:

https://m.

Sunzy is so CUUTE, I wanna terrible cry :raritydespair:

This is very cute and sweet.

Congrats on winning 2nd Place in my Hot Pony Summer Contest! This was such a perfectly sweet little romance fic, and the scene in bed was great, but the fact that you included a "Morning After" scene where they actually get together was my favorite part! Thanks for participating in the contest!

"Huh?" Sunny's mind blanked briefly as she fished for the answer to that question. "Oh! I was just admiring your home a bit. It looks even more wonderful at night, the way the lanterns just illuminate everything. There's just... I don't know, just such life to it. Before magic, it seemed like the only place in Bridlewood that had any life."

There's so much in so little here, aw.

What did you do, Izzy?

I like it. It was a short lil' bit of fluff, which is really its only downside. I want to see m o r e of them because this is really cute and adorable and, again, I just wish there was m o r e

I better see more Izzy from ya, hehe
