Perhaps Sunny wishes Izzy the unicorn could read her mind, then she wouldn't have to go through the embarrassment of confessing. Or maybe Izzy was just waiting for Sunny to admit her feelings to herself.

I should also mention I generally headcanon ponies as being omnivorous. A seaside community would find a lot of food in the water!

Yeah, I always figured that it would make sense for Pones to be a little farther along the herbivore-carnivore scale than our earthside breeds.
One of my personal head-thoughts is that pegasi were a rather nomadic stock, so having a more varied diet would be a major benefit when you can't guarantee a steady diet, and clouds as far as I know aren't the best places for crops (that said, I have read some stories where Pegasi make use of hydroponic technologies).
Earth Ponies would be the most likely to be fairly herbivorous, not a lot of need for alternate food sources when you can more or less grow things on command.
Unicorns fall somewhere in the middle and might be based on choice or social status, like I could see Princess Platinum for example having a roast salmon or something as a centerpiece dish at one of her banquets where a low-class unicorn might not ever see a fish outside of a textbook.

This was cute! I don't ship these two with any other characters but each other (and it's not just because Hitch is cute with both the pegasisters, though it is a factor...) It's such a wholesome ship. Thought you did it justice!

I absolutely love this description of my writing.
This was pretty cute. I loved seeing the difference in how Izzy and Sunny treated their crushes. The dream sequence was pretty fun; I didn't expect getting lost in the forest to be part of the dream too, but at least that meant Sunny wasn't acting that foolish.
This was adorable. That slight creep of attraction was well done.
Awesome. The tense and sweet moments were balanced well. Sunny is capital S smitten.
