I make both fanart and fanfic. I draw all my cover images myself, and I take art and writing commissions!

Cheerilee dwells alone in sterile white rooms. The disembodied voice that calls itself the Chancellor tells her she has an important task - a duty to her students. Come what may, Cheerilee is a teacher. She will do what she must.

Second place winner in the Quills and Sofas 'Cheerilee' character contest.

The additions were perfect. This was so beautiful. One of my new favorites, now.

Holy shit this was incredible. It had mixed of Oblivion and I am Mother and goddamit but this was a story I appreciate. I want more, to know more about this universe, and this story was just fantastic the entire time. :D

This story does work so well, but I'm so want to know what happened to get to this point. I also so wish to know will it all work out? What happens when the students awake?

Oh this is amazing. Like the others, I want to learn so much more about this universe!

Very interesting take.

I honestly think that this would be best a standalone though, compared to how most of these one-shots that get popular (of which I have high confidence that this will) usually end up being continued in some form or the other.

Regardless, lovely story.

Good shit don’t fuck it up

Holy smokes. I'd ask what happened to Equestria for everything to get to this point, but honestly, I think the answer would depress me.

Hmm, colony ship of some manner, everything seems to be going well. Probably something of a rush-job, you'd think ponies would naturally gravitate towards generation ships.

So I'm getting that there was some sort of disaster like a meteor or volcano that wrecked the surface and this is some sort of 'arc' bunker that is keeping everyone 'alive' to be replanted. They need 1 pony to help maintain it and there's only enough power to grow food for 1 pony in the hydroponic farms. I'm just trying to think of what sort of disaster could take this many thousands of years for the world to recover from? Certainly nuclear fallout. Some sort of ice age?

Nevermind. Now I feel bad, I like Cheeilee. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait for morning until I can read this. I have school in five hours, and I've been up all night. I'm going ned some coffee.

Well done, that ending made me genuinely feel for Cheerilee

I gotta feel for Chancellor Neighsay. The pony's bigoted, but I could see him being the first to volunteer sacrificing his sanctity of mind for this task. He must one heck of an iron will to handle watching this. And his insistence on answering so often means he's desperately lonely. I can only hope the two will make it through this ordeal.

Was this inspired by Tsuyoshi Isomoto's Eden?

The character stuff was nice enough, but I can't help but scratch my head at the government official who thought they needed to constantly clone a pony to take care of the embryos and not let the AI handle it, but still give it complete control over the entire ship, including the ability to dole out lethal injections.

Well... i suppose there would be better ways to deal with the facility... probably a few ponies rather than one, they thought the AI shouldn’t touch the genetic parts but they made him clone her... I suppose ponies were in a hurry to set the thing up and preserve the lives and didn’t have a lot of time to think about the morals stuff... Anyways, as an I-want-to-crawl-into-a-corner-and-cry-myself-to-sleep kind of story, it works, and I like Cheerilee a lot. Nicely done.

Don't worry, you'll be able to get to it.
Just be patient.
:fluttercry:

One day, hopefully, the facility will be emptied of the ponies as they're born and released into whatever world can support them.
