I hate how eerily similar this fic’s title is to my IRL debut novel manuscript (Imperfect Storm). The fact that we’re apparently drawn to similar puns is enough to make me read this.
This story sounds like it needs a romance tag. Why doesn't it have one?

There's not enough Lightning Dust stories on this site, and Rolling Thunder too? Already a rare gem before even starting! I'm 100% looking forward to more of this, it's an intriguing beginning showing the development of Lightning and Rolling's relations as well as later after the incident with Scootaloo and RD. Can't wait to see where this goes, be it romantic, slice of life, or somewhere else entirely - awesome stuff Bookish!
Also as a big fan of Lightning and Rolling, I have to ask if there's somewhere I can find that cover art in full, I'd love to give it a serious thumbs-up and if possible give it a well-deserved spot in a Lightning Dust art folder

I'm quite sure I don't like the implications of Rolling flying into the deadly storm with no supplies, but this is better.
And, y'know, bouncing around the timeline sucks the tension out of that train of thought.

Well, this is and continues to get more interesting.
We're getting inside Lightning's head, which isn't something I'm used to seeing. Usually, she's just treated like "Rainbow Dash lite minus loyalty and restraint". I look forward to reading more.

This is pretty good.
I can picture Lightning Dust as the person you dislike until your forced to band together to defeat an opponent.
It would've awesome seeing her fight back against the Storm King.
Man, this is painful. Particularly Lightning Dust wasn't being actively malicious, just careless with a filly with whom she was trying to give a decent future.
I actually contemplated a Washout story, but ironically, it never got off the ground. Mostly because I couldn't find a way to sync what I wanted from the characters with who they actually were. Definitely looking forward to seeing what you do with these two.
I like this. I don't like Dust usually but this story's different. Props for making Lightning Dust a character to be sympathized with. Her relationship with Rolling's adorable too.
