I can imagine Bon Bon putting herself in harm's way to save others and Lyra pining for her; they are such a devoted couple after all.
I wrote it as a tribute to their closeness and love for each other - glad it struck a chord with you.
Good concept, but I'm not sure Twilight would let one of her oldest friends from school go that far down....
