The whole age thing was really offputting. The way you have Dash complaining about the others ages is like you think they are in their thirties or forties. Twenty five or even twenties is certainly not even remotely close to being considered old in anyway. Other than that it was pretty decent how things played out. Not really fond of the old “Dash is possibly a lesbian” trope, but whatever. Interested in seeing what comes next. Or who for that matter.

i think of as RGRE as kind of like its own tag some people dont like that stuff so stating that it does contain it will usually prevent people from clicking on it i say usually because some people just cant help themselves to click on something they KNOW they dont like just to leave a negative comment or something along those lines

TBH, I agree to an extent that the entire concept of the labeling fanfiction the acronyms RGRE is by itself a bit absurd considering how there are many ways one can interpret the show in the first place. Some may reasonably argue if it's RGRE, or perhaps someone else could also reasonably say that gender roles don't work the same way in Equestria like in our world, just as George R.R martin can change the rules of morality in his books through circumstance or God-like intervention

But think about the context. Many people came here from a life of unfulfillment. Perhaps they feel sexual frustration of their unfortunate circumstances and fetishize RGRE for whatever reason, perhaps some of them are femboys or tomboyish girls feel that Society's courtship is unfair and can only feel sexually confident while feeling accepted at the same time if they acted out the opposite gender roles, or for the heck of it, why not just go for the groin and say that some writers get a kick off of trying to act against the grain and rebelling against many fics that assume that the gender norms are similar or the exact same in Equestria, which I find to be most fanfics actually.

For whatever reason, having the RGRE tag is a good way for all of those stories to gather into one place, the RGRE group, and signal to the us, the swarm, that fans of this work are into. It's less of label to organize into logical groups and more of a Marketing tactic that makes it more convenient for both the writers and the consumers. More or less like how many other groups are formed in general.
