I'm a bit mixed. It's kinda sad that this is gone. But, I haven't read this for a long time. Because, the story itself has some "GLARING" issues that I didn't like. Mainly didn't like the Main Character ( Mathaniel) and his lying cynical backstory from long ago. And other things.

I'm more into the Original Story of Don't Get Cocky with Toriko Zebra (Asura), and Dragon Ball Z/DB GT/DB Super Inspired Vegito in Don't Underestimate Me.

This really Chills me down to the bone this was the story that started my Dissent Into the crazy world displaced story's like this one how made my day a little better in the shit hool that is my life so I am sad to see it go it will always be remembered

It is all right.. Some stories are finished, others are left to incomplete, while some are rushed and turnout different from if they were waited upon.

After all the best stories are stories that you write with emotion, but those are the hardest to wright.

Damn... I never thought I would see this happen, but it was bound to happen someday. Either this story would be canceled, left on eternal hiatus, or completed... but still, this was one of my more favorite stories I read on this website, aside from Don't Get Cocky (which is only accessible through fimfetch, as I've found out) and Outward Evils, or even One With The Heart... but I will await the next adventure.

Onward, to glory and beyond.

So is rewrite one of the options to change the story's first chapters or you make new story of mathael in a different universe with a new bio.
I know you have stopped working hard on this story but is there even a chance of rewriting the entire story with new ideas, inspired by anything by show,books, games anything really. Im just don't want this story to die like this but it's your choice mate if there's a chance of a rewrite story im fine with it.
Also im not trying to push you or anything just trying to help out that's all

I wish I could give a concrete answer; however, I doubt I can even find much time to write on my current stories; I just finished my latest chapter, which still needs to be edited before publishing it. I likely have to keep future chapters short, 2-3 thousand words instead of 10-12, because of how pressing time is. Now, that is not a direct no, but for the foreseeable future, there is nothing I can say.

As the writer worked on his magnum opus, quill flying across the pages, a dashingly handsome figure crept up to the bookshelf. Reaching into the folds of his trenchcoat, he pulled out a pair of tongs and slowly, slowly pulled the...thing from the shelf. Quickly, he dropped the loathsome tome on the floor, doused it in gasoline, then set it alight. Hungry flames licked across the bilious book, devouring the unoriginal, lazy, and downright putrid mess and leaving nothing but a pile of ash.
