Ahh, and so begins the start of this particular plotline... Definitely ominous. I look forward, as always, to seeing what unfolds.

:pinkiegasp: :applejackconfused: A rather scary way to begin a new story, and from Pony Twilight's point-of-view as well. As ever with the Homecoming continuity, I am filled with anticipation.

Okay that was dramatic I can't wait to see more of this story

At first I was like: Oh hello Sombra! Found your way to the human world, yeah?

Then allykitty was like: Nope! It's a girl! Also Twilight POV!!

My current feelings toward this story can be summed up in a couple words:
2. More.

8056112 In all seriousness, though: good work. I can't wait to see more!:pinkiehappy:

spooky, ominous voiceI am writing. All will be revealed...

I hope everyone enjoys the upcoming story arc.

A princess team-up story? I'm going to love this.

An attack on Twilight's student? That's going to trigger a few things.

200 baskets of fan mail , I can dig it

As before, the SunsetxSunshine moments are incredibly moving and adorable. Also loved the little mention of Applejack and Rainbow's relationship.

:twilightangry2: Twilight, calm down. It was only a joke. I think.

Nice LotR reference there. I'm actually rereading the series now, starting with the Hobbit.

Spike, read the label next time. :facehoof:

"Hey, it's me."
"That's what I'm worried about."

:rainbowlaugh: That one gets to me every time I think about it.

:twilightangry2: I don't think Twilight's happy.

:pinkiegasp: Okay, that got scary pretty quick.

greeeat, now I have visions of ponies dancing to Thriller

*sigh* I really hate zomponies. :twilightangry2:

Whoa. This is so good!!! I can't wait for more... what a cliffhanger! .) and I really liked that Appledash bit in chapter four. Keep up the good work!

It appears that someone is inspired by the story of Snowdrop

A short but incredibly intense and climactic chapter.

So..., Twilight couldn't remember getting any weird letters, and Luna couldn't detect any trace of a spell. Did I miss the evidence that made them focus on mail-bomb spells?

Man, it's all fun and games until the White Walkers show up.

1. Called it. I figured she was related to Sombra in some way or another. My initial guess was she was a reincarnation of him, but whatever.:derpytongue2:
2. I am livid beyond all SHIT with Ms. Hodge-Podge right now. What she did is fucking WRONG.:flutterrage: She had better fucking die, damnit. :twilightangry2:
So, in other words: this is an AMAZING story!:pinkiehappy: Keep up the good work. Make me cry, and you've just completed the nigh-impossible.

For Pete's sake, lady, by the time anyone in this room ever saw your dad he was a giant disembodied wraith with a working vocabulary of two (three?) words. Do you really think a retarded Nazgul makes an appropriate head of state?

:fluttershbad: Oh, poor Applejack. I should have seen that coming for her and for Sunset as well. Makes me afraid the same might happen for other characters.

As for Sorla, :twilightangry2: :flutterrage: she's going to get hers!!!

Crystals. Pony ponies. Crystals Ponies. Ponies.

Translation: Worked for Sauron....

...somepony needs to let Sorla know that Sombra was the frigging usurper. Preferably while kicking her flank up one side and down the other.

This is totally feeling like something out of Full Metal Alchemist with the circle and the backlash the two brothers had, not quite the same I know, but I am just getting that feeling.

Were I a more secretive gal, I wouldn't show you what inspired the premise of this story. But I'm not, so

On the other hand, this video rocks anyway and should be shared.

Is someone about to get a pair of wings?

Nice touch on the first suggestion of what to nickname the human Rainbow Dash.

Great as always. Though I hope you don't mind if I point out a typo or two.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen, and this is something we nee to do anyway.” Should be need, Ally

Also, I'm a bit confused. Usually you use Sunshine to refer to Human!Twilight, yet here, I see simply Twilight used, is that due to the fact that it's just the Humane 7 involved?

Yeah. Sunshine is primarily an indicator when both Twilights are present or the Princess is being spoken to in regard to SciTwi. Since it's just the CHS girls here, no need to differentiate. That's also why Sunset isn't using the nicknames for the other girls, though she may not have been told them yet either.

Not sure if I think this is the case because of the MLP Time Loops, but the only reason the Ring could be melted at Mount Doom was because that's where it was forged.

However, Smaug could have as well, as dragonfire might have also worked.

Correct me if I'm wrong though; as I said, that way of destroying the One Ring is the result of an aggregate collab fic based off of a perpetual time loop, multiverse level.

Actually, Smaug could have only melted any of the lesser rings. Many of the Seven were lost to dragon fire, and Balin was tempted to Moria by the promise of the return of one of the seven. In The Silmarillion they spoke of how Mount Doom burned hotter than all the drakes of the north.

I'm such a nerd...:twilightsheepish:

Yeah, I figured as much. Like I said, the part where a dragon could destroy the One Ring doesn't work baseline; as anypony that has read or is a fan of MLP Time Loos can attest, that particular fic plays merry hell with baseline.

On a related note, I've never actually read The Silmarillion; all I've ever read is the original series.

 What else can I say than "I love this chapter to death". In this one training session, you've given great beautiful and adorable moments to all the established romances of your continuity.

It's not for the faint of heart. It's like reading the Zelda timeline. It's basically the historical bible of Middle Earth and Valinor.

8079229 Do not meddle in the affairs of nerds, for they are confusing and quick with references.:rainbowlaugh:

this is now my new bio for fimfiction.

:Pinkie doing the Daniel Bryant YES chant!:

Hey, we may not have the emote, but the intent is clear.

Sing with me now . . . :rainbowdetermined2:

Axes flash, broadsword swing,

Shining armour's piercing ring

Horses run with polished shield,

Fight Those Bastards till They Yield

Midnight mare and blood red roan,

Fight to Keep this Land Your Own

Sound the horn and call the cry--

How Many of Them Can We Make Die!

March of Cambreadth

I need my LotR battle music!!
Also, is Neighlin a pun on something because I've seen that name before, and I got a sense of déjà vu reading about him/her:unsuresweetie:. Maybe just the Potter books, ya know, Pettigrew and all.:rainbowlaugh:
