When you first met Fluttershy, you fell in love with her. Eventually, thanks in part to Sunset Shimmer, you and her shared a strong, romantic bond. However, tragedy strikes you and you ended up in a catatonic state where you could not care about anything. Though there is always support...
A sad, short story inspired by a comic by Lucy-tan, which also is where the cover image comes from. When I first read the comic, I was so devastated that I had to write up a story about it. Hope you guys enjoy it.
Update, November 20th, 2021: A Dramatic Reading is done by 15.ai, which you can listen to here.
Glad you liked the comic

Thank you.
It's always hard saying goodbye... but remember that there's no such thing as goodbye... only see you later...
As soon as I saw that comic (which I really liked, as much as one can like something so bittersweet), I knew I'd see a fic based on it.
Excellent work.
Like the marine core say
"Marines Never die they are just missing in action"
Great work.
Did you get the title from the line in the Winter Wrap Up song?
7762687
No. It's from the season 2 opening of RWBY.
Can I get a link to the comic?
7763092
The link is in the image's source. Or here's the link
There's a point where it tips, there's a point where it breaks, there's a point where it bends, and a point we just can't take anymore...
Great story, btw.
7763098 Thanks.
I didn't cry, but only because of the lack of moisture in my body at the moment. If I had any, I'd be a sniveling wreck right now. On that note...

7762687 It's from the lyrics of the intro song of RWBY "Say Goodbye": Now it's time to say goodbye. To the things we love and the innocence of youth.
Possibly my favorite intro.
...*Deep sigh* Been there... three times too many... *Wipes tear*
Can you provide a link for the comic so that your fans can read the same comic? By the way this was a beautiful story well thought out well written and very well put together.

So you mean to tell me my man canāt grieve in peace?
It would have been at that moment I would have cocked my fist back and let it fly.
It would have been at that moment that I would have stood up and left.

The problem was more that he wasn't grieving in peace. He was avoiding having to actually think about Fluttershy's death. Remember, he skipped out on soccer games because even the butterfly patches sown onto the shorts reminded him too much of her. Hence the need for the intervention and why Applejack decided to take matters into her own hands and grapple him.
10637951
So because he didnāt want to think about her death, they thought it was bad?
10637994
Yeah, pretty much.
10637997
My point still stands, then.
