Not that I don't think it's an interesting idea, but mind if I ask why you decided to go with the whole Anthro thing? Not trying to be judgmental or anything, but this kind of makes it a little difficult to read the story.
When they are ponies, no issue, human, again no issue, but Anthro, it just feels kind of weird is all I'm saying. So I'm just wondering why you decided to go this route instead of just making them ponies or humans? Again not trying to judge or be rude, just asking.

I explained how he appears in the literal first section of the first chapter. More than once even, since I had to have it explained once in the beginning in moving prose and a second time when the Mane 6 see him for the first time

This chapter was very entertaining, especially with both Naruto and AJ realizing their feelings for each other, the kiwi incident, and the water dancing scene.
I'm kinda sad that this is only gonna be short story. It's a great twist of the NIE theam and I would love to see what you could really do with these characters.

Thanks for the review, it was surprisingly HARD to write a chapter based on an episode. Weird right? Thing with writing chapter based episodes, is that the episodes give the characters specific moments/lines that have to be addressed in some way in the chapter, or I feel it's not doing the episode justice. Save for when you SHOULD change lines/actions fr the greater good of the characters and fic.

Kinda sucked being able to glance at a page and essentially assorbe the information on it no feeling just info took me a while to learn how to slow down my thaught process enough to make it more enjoyable.

6487711 I use it as an abreaveation for near identical memory disorder the docs have a fancier name for it and is usually associated with those on autistic spectrum due to are unique brain hardwire being so drastically different from the average person. Basically due to the way my brain was hardwired my short term and long term memory was majorly fucked with when I was born. Just glancing at a page in a book the information is almost instantaneously assorbed into my long term memory. Came in handy during school. The downside though is things that should be stored in longterm memory is more often is put inot short term memory. For each of us it is different for instance I have little to no facial recignition and couldn't remember a name if my life depended on it it's so bad I can't even remember haf of my family's names.

It's honestly not a bad story.
The only reason I can think of that there are so many dislikes is that you named your character Naruto.
Now maybe you have plans to add in his ninja background at some point, or have some other way to tie this Naruto to the one we know from Konoha.
Unfortunately as it stands you have a Faye trapped in the pony world with mystical powers that just happens to have the name Naruto.
It cannot be a true Naruto cross over if the only thing the main characters share is a name.
I can almost guarantee that is one of the main reasons you have so many dislikes...people came for a Naruto cross over and they got Naruto the Faye...
This is a good story, but it should not have been labeled a cross over...it should have had its own unique main character to go along with the unique story.

Hmm, I could see that, but than that would make all the crossovers of Naruto born in another world on FF the same kind of flack.
I can understand this, but than it makes it hard to make it unique. Like say if I wanted to have him reincarnated, then it runs into the same problem, save for his memories, but then I couldn't play with his character growing.
Plus I can honestly say that I dislike OC stories, even though that dislike hasn't exactly been as volatile as it use to be, I honestly can't say I'd feel okay with myself if I did the very thing I hated. It's a hard standard to keep, so I should probably try and make it more crossover-y. Trying to make sure people accept that its a crossover would be hard enough with trying to make it unique.
Another thing is that I swear people kind of only think its Naruto usually based on his moveset.
I don't know maybe I'm just overthinking it, but it would be hard to make it original if I have to constantly have him get reincarnated in every one of my stories, or find some contrivance to bring him here which would involve finding ninety different ways to run it so it would't be boring to the readers thinking, "Oh he got here of the same premise again, woohoo /sarcasm"
6561561 Writing crossovers is never easy because you are essentially combining two or more stories into one with a cohesive storyline.
This is a good story...just not a crossover.
I have read a good deal of the Naruto crossovers on this site, and they all maintained at least a small connection to Naruto's original universe.
Maybe they gave him the speech pattern of saying "believe it!" All the time...may be they gave him uncontrollable ninja powers...heck maybe Kurama came along for the ride...basically something more than just a name connected the story to the Naruto universe.
I also agree on the OC thing...I have a hard time giving stories with too many OC's a chance.
Unfortunately you have written a story with an OC in it...an OC who shares the name Naruto with the ninja we know and love. I am not trying to be mean, and I am not trying to upset you. I am just letting you know why this story likely has garnered some hate with very few likes.
Seriously sit down and look at the character objectively...maybe even have a friend do it with you...just sit down and compare/contrast your Naruto with the actual one from the manga/anime...because as it stands right now the only thing these characters seem to share is a name.
As far as trying to get Naruto to that dimension...there are many ways for that to happen...messed up a summoning jutsu...forbidden scroll...testing properties of the dimensional trick that his instructor does...may be Madara accidentally sent him there when the Kyubi was released...the possibilities are endless...
Truthfully it matters less how he got there, and more what he does while he is there.
You have a well crafted story here make no mistake.
It just throws people off when they come to read a story about Naruto in Equestria and instead they get a story about an OC that just happens to share the same name as Naruto.

Uh yeah, he does. He used Shadow clone s in like....chapter 04 onward. Makes some pretty liberal use of shadow clones throughout most of the chapters beyond that point. That and Rasengan, obviously, but for what reasons would be spoiling.
So the ponies all have hands now? Naruto is a mutant animal creature now? Good story but a little hard to follow.
