Oooh, this is going to be the start of something excellent, I think.
It's not every day we see Fluttershy on this side of the doubly-unrequited (regardless of how ridiculous that sound at first blush) perspective, and I like what we've seen so far. I'll be glad to follow wherever you take it.
The first chapter is as cute as a sack full of mewling kittens and as sad as a sack full of mewling kittens being slowly lowered into a rain barrel.

Well it says incomplete, so one can only hope.
A lot of things intrigue me about this story. The foremost is your use of two perspectives (while I assume you'll continue to switch on a regular basis), which might make things a little more difficult as a writer because it will be harder to pull off a plot twist without it being very easy to predict. But it does have a certain appeal to it. The Juliet's side to the story just as well as the Romeo's.
Also I can already tell your version of fluttershy will fit right into my head canon.
Anyhow, I'm super excited and will be watching for updates a little more eagerly than I really ought to be.

Have to say I really liked this one, more so for concept than pairing.
The "action" of it was "toned down" somewhat, but I really liked the description of it. (so technically the physical part was a bit lower, but mental higher) Neat to see a much "higher" mentally arousal based character masturbate imo.
I think you managed to capture a possible masturbation fantasy, that rather would fit Fluttershy possibly rather well

I love how you write passages that are simultaneously terribly cheesy and good. It's a good skill to have.
I've never been a fan of FlutterMac, mostly because authors just don't seem to have a good reason for it beyond, "She's shy and he's quiet, who else would Fluttershy end up with?" It's a foalish response with little thought behind it, but here, Sleepless, you've managed to give it a much better feel, a relationship based upon shared quiet kindnesses. It truly feels like a relationship that the two could share, and I don't think anyone else could have written a believable Fluttershy masturbation story... her "tipping point" fantasy is their children... I love it

When i read this i could really feel a story behind Macintosh. How he as a laborer "had no right" to think of a beautiful thing in such a way because his soul purpose was to work (his way of caring for family). It is repeated in baww threads that his is a sad story. How even being adept in his study as a filly he had to leave school to work on the farm but he would never once complain, it was all for his family. Even when AJ left for Manehatten and a mother that must of been pregnant with Applebloom he still carried on (which is how he came to harbor enough strength to rip and pull a house from its foundations). I am so keen to see this continued. Your ability to clearly create a picture in my head is pro.
