Sasp was my design, but I didn't draw him. I commissioned the talented SIP (https://inkbunny.net/sip) to make the image of him however. He did a fantastic job from the lengthy descriptions I gave him!

I was trying to think of a ponysona; was trying to make something that was a somewhat physical representation of how I view myself. Was sipping a rootbeer, one of my fav drinks. So I said "Hey, rootbeer pony!" And picked his colors based off a mug of rootbeer, went earth pony since there are too many unicorns and alicorns and pegesai as it it :p Same idea with the long(ish) hair, rather than some careful manecut or handsomeness. functional but not stylish glasses, earthy tones. Whole point is he is a somewhat down to earth, laid back pony; so making him relatively plain in design was intentional.
