5981816 Alright, I finally got around to reading it. Here are a few thoughts.

1. Word use was a tad questionable at times. Words like "pragmatic" may be accurate, but for anyone who doesn't know the meaning, it will break attention away from what's going on.

2. Grammar and spelling was really good. It flowed well, as well. So, you know, keep doing what you do.

3. I didn't really like how you wrote Fleur, but who cares. She's a blank book as far as canon, so you can do whatever you want. As far as Octavia goes, it was interesting seeing a new side to her. And the lack of Vinyl was a welcome change as well.

Anyway, I'll spare you the length of a full review. It was a good story as far as I'm concerned, but I'm sure it would present even higher value to those who have greater appreciation of this nature of story.

This was a seriously great story. It was a tad predictable, but I don't think it needs to be otherwise, so that's not a huge complaint. I enjoyed the characterization of both Octavia and Fleur, and although they aren't my headcanon versions of the characters, they felt very natural and fit very well.
Good work. I'll be watching you.

Not usually one for m-rated stories, but the pairing had me interested. Quite well-characterized Octavia and Fleur, and quite a bit that is headcanon-usable.

The story itself was nice, and allthough I personally had hoped from the picture and description that it would lead to a more romantic/couple-y direction, this was fine too. Both of them got some relaxation and learned to love their job again a bit more. Shame that the ending does not really lend itself easily to a sequel.

Holy crap, I was just getting ready to compliment you via pm you about the quality of your reviews. You're freakin me out.

And please, always be super picky if it's concerning my work. I love criticism.

It's interesting that you mention how the story doesn't feel complete without a change in Fleur, because I had planned on writing a second part once my other stories wrapped up. It would still be cast from Octavia's perspective, but the conflict would be centered on Fleur's troubles and her reason for hooking up with some random made in the first place.
