Shining Armor gets a letter from Princess Celestia, asking him to Canterlot. There, he learns that Discord -- a creature that is the living embodiment of chaos -- has returned after a thousand years. Now he and his friends must use The Elements of Harmony to stop Discord from turning Equestria upside down (possibly in a very literal sense).

Ice cream snow ... glad to see Discord showing a bit of variation. Cotton candy clouds raining chocolate milk (say that three times fast!) are fun, but they're almost expected on here, and chaos implies variation. Now watch him have a few flakes that are wasabi flavored or something. Let ponies think he's a chaotic sugar daddy, then WHAM! mouth-blisteringly potent surprise right to the tongue. Or maybe even just have EVERY flavor possible (think Bertie Botts beans from Harry Potter), all a uniform green, and Shiny just lucked out.
Edit: Even so, food falling from the sky is still fairly mundane.
