Discord is awakened by all of the drama from the changeling attack on Shining Armor's and Princess Cadance's wedding. Twilight Sparkle can't shake the whispers in the back of her head causing her to doubt her friends and family. Will Shining Armor and Cadance ever get to say 'I Do'? And what will become of Equestria?

You know, you did a good idea of a "what if the changeling invasion woke up Discord" story. After all, having a bunch of changelings buzzing around all over the place is a chaotic disaster, isn't it? Remember, Discord could either be freed from his stone prison with the elements of Harmony (as seen in "Keep Calm and Flutter On"), or from surrounding chaos (as seen in "The Return of Harmony, Part 1").

The chaos was only able to make the last push to free discord because the elements were no longer bonded to the ones who imprisoned him. If the main six hadn't freed him, he'd have stayed locked up until at least the main six were dead.
6116389 What about the sad moment at the wedding reception? Wouldn't it symbolize the elements being torn apart? Surely, that would give Discord a good amount of energy to break out of his stone prison.

The mane six were still the bearers of the elements after the wedding, so no, they never lost their connection like Celestia and Luna did.
Well, remember in the reception room, how those five acted like the exact opposites of the elements of harmony they're bearing? Rarity got greedy for the joy of helping put on a wedding, fluttershy was mean to twilight, pinkie made no effort to cheer twilight up, rainbow dash, when she chose to be loyal to Chrysalis, betrayed twilight at the same time, basically stabbing her in the back. As for applejack, who states herself as a supportive friend, proved that all that was a lie, considering that all she cared about was planning a wedding, instead of friendship. Don't forget the heartbreak twilight felt when her own brother and mentor turned their backs on her. That was a moment where DISHARMONY was shrouding the air. And the wickedness of chrysalis and the changelings lurking throughout canterlot added to it as well. All what happened during that fateful rehearsal night and the changeling invasion served as good foundations for Discord's release by the time this story started.

Twilight felt betrayed by her friends and family. She couldn't just forgive them. The trust was broken. Besides there was plenty of chaos all over Equestria. Love chaos, That's the best kind. Discord fed off of the chaos caused by the wedding and the betrayal and the final battle was the surge he needed to get free. Also - my story = my rules

I think you're overlooking the fact that in this story, Discord never broke free in Season 2. So he was still due for it (overdue as the case may be). He could never convince Twilight so easily to side with him if Return of Harmony had happened. So yes, the chaos of the wedding would have been more than enough to free him, because he'd never been re-sealed by the Mane 6 in the first place.
Can I add something, I bet for a fact that Discord will use Twilight's pain to manipulate her against her friends.
I have a hunch that the flower Discord put in Twilight's mane was from a PLUNDERSEED plant. Anyone who is familiar with the whole "Twivine Sparkle" phenomenon will know what I mean.

Considering that he noticed that the plunderseeds didn't sprout up quicker than he thought, he decided in his revenge plan to turn Twilight against her friends, all while kicking up that plunderseeds plan up a notch.

Wow..This whole thing makes me think of the Black Lady part of the original Sailor Moon series
-Twilight/Chibi-Usa went though a terrible invasion and were still suffering mentally from the events
-Both of them had some hand in the danger (In Twilight's case, Discord). But in their defence, their involvement was also caused by the fact they were treated rather poorly (Chibi-USA by her kingdom, Twilight by her family and friends)
-Neither weren't really comforted by anyone over what happened (Though in Chibi-Usa's case, the past Senshi had no idea, and the future squad was unavailable. Twilight, however, didn't get an apology from Shining or Celestia, and the one for Applejack only sounded half-hearted)
-Both of their families were in danger, and both only wanted to help them
-And now, both have been convinced their family and friends have never cared about them, complete with phony visions (Chibi-Usa's of scorn, abandonment, and lonelieness, Twilight's of her friends just eating cake, partying and having a good time without her, along with the infamous wedding rehearsal)
All that's left is the Alicorn transformation Discord mentioned

I mean, COME ON! HOW many times now has Twilight been proved right? Not to mention her and her friends having to constantly clean up messes that should fall under Princess Celestia's jurisdiction. IS ANYPONY ELSE SEEING THIS?!?

Also, Celestia's just being very thoughtless and doesn't seem to care about Twilight at all in this. All she did was
-tell Twilight her anger was blinding her (anger that was only the result of her NOT saying sorry), instead of trying to comfort her
-Not ACTUALLY doing anything to look for Twilight, as in, get off her seat and actually help instead of just relaying on her subjects while she sits and eats cake
-And in this chapter, she seems to be only scolding Twilight, even after the scene thing. And I bet if Twilight had let her speak, it would just the same thing from the first chapter-that her anger is blinding her. No attempt to comfort, no apologies, nothing. Just scolding Twilight for something that wasnt even her fault.
-And what does she say after Twilight runs off? "We would still beat you, even without Twilight" pretty much! News flash, she was taken down by a super charged queen, and couldn't do squat when Discord first got out! What was she thinking? Actually having Twilight replaced?
Ouch, well, Twilight does have a right to be upset, the way everybody doubted her. Nothing upsets a mare more than when her own friends and family won't believe her!
