It's majorly, majorly meta. I laughed at it, because it's so true. People do tend to go 'screw these taboos, I'm writing this anyway' and think everyone's gonna love it. Most of the time though, about 75% of those stories make no sense and are for self-gratification.

BAD NEWS!
I lost around 10% of the story due to some bullsh-t thing while uploading (or something like that, I don't know). I'll have to try and *sighs loudly after many other bursts of anger* rewrite it. I'm positive that it'll be worse than before, since the magic of the moment has well gone. But I hope it's not too bad.
Okay, so I think that my replacement section is about as good, although maybe slightly worse but not too bad-- same kind of ballpark.

I want to laugh so hard, but at the same time, that mail fraud bit was out of place in the story. The rest of it was perfect, though.

It is rather silly in tone for an otherwise serious story, but to be honest I felt like this story was already drowning in seriousness and I felt like it was becoming something that I as an author didn't like (odd, but true).

You know, maybe. But it's not an either or thing, really. I'd RATHER that it got an ending that still fleshed out everything, but remained constant in tone. If every serious story became silly at the end, we'd have some very strange cancer tales. I'm not saying that you can't have the humor, but the large role it played, and the amount of space it took up, and the sheer ridiculousness of it it all jarring and out of place. It's a nice segment, but not one I see working HERE.
This IS a very serious story, one that deals with some emotional real life issues. I just feel that you should have stayed true to the story, and if you felt like writing something more humorous, you should have done that in another story.

I-I-I like this. Mainly cause I'm bisexual so I'd do either gender. But this was a cool story. Maybe you should make like a bondage style story with the Mail Demon and Clover. I dunno just a suggestion.

Great story, really, really enjoyed it
Even if its not my usual fare, I still found myself loving it start to finish. The ending might have been a touch jarring, but hey, it was good to see Clover get what was coming too her. Plus it had me in stitches the entire time

That was... not exactly what I was expecting. This story has really great potential, but it was a bit too short for my tastes. You could have really made it epic if you wanted to. With just a bit more time fleshing out the characters, you could have really developed an interesting dynamic between the main character and Soarin. I also think Soarin is hot, don't know why... but whatever. So yeah, lot of potential here I would like to see more fics with a similar theme.
