These last couple of chapters have hit really really close to home. You do a wonderful job of expressing the rollercoaster of emotions associated Soarin's situation. Parents splitting up, having only having one parent who really opens up to you, either because they're gone or because they refuse to. You know, deep down, that there's another side, but the nature of things just makes it hard to see. And Soarin got to. And that moment hurts. It hurts just as much as the rest of it. It takes a long time to be able to put together a perspective on a parental breakup, and something like this just turns it all on its head.
If you're writing from experience, all I can say is I'm sorry. Well done.
All remaining chapters of 'Sensation' will be posted on Friday, October 6th, 2017.
I await with bated breath...
Dude i love this story:)
We got a date for the big mystery. Yes.
Yay! Another chapter! Anyone else try to read stories but can't make it after the third chapter :/ ? Been happening a lot. Until you seen there is a new post to one the stories you like. The feeling of saying "tee hee" like a little girl lol. Love the chap mate. Cheers to you and do hope a new one well pop up later. Gonna try to find the right music for this one.
What, ALL OF THEM?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!
On a more serious note, I think the past two chapters are some of the best you have written, Its probably because everything is now is 'falling into place', But So many individual parts felt so real, from the work colleges bit, the meeting of an estranged parent (I dont see mine ever going that well), the whole parent raising stuff is, gah (Ill try not get all Philip Larkin on this) to even the compartmentralsiaon and bixeulaity part (our pride stage could have done with more understanding on that too).
As this is drawing to a close, I should take the time to say thank you, for one of the best stories on FIMFiction, and certainly my favorite, (not like I haven't read it ALL* like 3 times or anything)
https://youtu.be/dHvWURUzj3Q when the part kiss the photo thats a good start to play ^^ Notice this part of the story might be playing the part of confusion and accepteding.
And so we finally come to the point we've been waiting for quickly goes to check when it was published spittake Wait, it's been almost three and a half years? Wow, we're patient when we're waiting on something awesome.
Keep up the good work. With the movie coming out the same day, I eagerly await October 6th for many great things.
I should probably get started on that essay on the theme of reflection for this fic I mentioned a couple years ago.
I was actually tearing up on the last two chapters... I think it was hitting a little close to home on some parts, even though I greatly enjoyed them.
I can't even summon the words necessary to express how much I enjoy this story, this diamond in the rough; It's better than many actual books I've read...
Eagerly awaiting the final chapters, you magnificent author.
On an odder, and somewhat unrelated note, when Soarin' started his little flight session towards the end, This song and its English lyrics popped into my head. I'm not sure if it's at all fitting, but it came to mind.
The best thing about this story is that it never stick with a single emotion. It never stays with his sadness. As I read this, I feel I can imagine being told this by the being who experienced all this. Almost a wreck... Happy at the happy parts, crying, mad... And it changes several times throughout each chapter.
I have to wonder how much he isn't telling accurately. It's a big reason on why I want to, but don't expect, see this story from Braeburn's perspective. While I don't have the questions ready, there are just too many questions to be had.
I got worried he might've broken his legs from that fall,,, kinda freaked me out...
Simply lovely, got me thinking a lot. Cry a little, the usual stuff. I cant wait for more..
Keep up the amazing work.
Awww shit!

I aim to please (and make people cry).
In seriousness, this is my favorite feedback to get. I try hard to make it feel true to life. Thanks for letting me know!
Returning back to flight, specifically flying up and letting gravity pull you back down, from the start of the story was a wonderful callback.
Questions are being answered and it sounds like the last big one is next, "What happened to his legs?"

Thank you. It was kind of a personal thing for me, too. I was really proud of that paragraph way at the start, and so bookending it here with a callback gave me a sense of closure as well.
I didn’t catch this my first read-through, but I have to applaud you on using Soarin’s progress on Whitewing to emulate the reader’s progress on this story. Very clever.
