I waffled between this version and having it be revealed at the end. I went with this one because the other version felt like too much of a "WHAT A TWEEST!" moment.

Could you please clarify, though: when you say you "could hardly read through" it, do you mean that it was boring or that it was emotionally intense? Or something else?

If I could write characters half as well as you, I'd probably be a millionaire. The last two chapters have made me cry. I can't remember the last time I was so invested in a published work, let alone a fan piece. (We aren't counting laughing here because I apparently laugh at everything.)

The only feedback I can really give is: Continue what you're doing at a faster pace. I need more of this story in my life.

It's weird - for whatever reason, your comment made me realize that someday, this story will end, and I'm now at the point that I could probably give a decent outline of every chapter from here on out (but don't worry, anypony that's reading this - there's still plenty more). I know the feeling. It's odd to know what's going to happen while everyone else speculates, and it feels even odder the closer you get to that secret end. So that's pretty normal, IMO.

Really enjoying this story, its heartwrenching though. Compared to a few other romantic fanfics I've read on here, this one shows that this relationship still has problems. They both do the best they can given the circumstances, buck I would punch those media ponies if I could. I feel so bad for the two of them because if it weren't for all of the media crap and Bronze they have to put up with, they would probably be pretty well off in their relationship. Really hope they can get a break soon, but I suppose this is just the beginning of the downward spiral. Anyway, that's all the feedback I've got atm. Cudos to you for writing an awesome story, and also gotta say you have an awesome avatar pic!

Wow. What an emotional roller coaster the past few chapters have been. From the happy, fun, perhaps somewhat artificial times in Las Pegasus, to the emotional down to earth talks with Braeburn's parents, to the complete rage at Tom for stooping so low just to get the next big scoop. I smiled, I cried, I wanted to smack Tom for being so sleazy. Soarin' is realizing that Braeburn isn't perfect and that he can't be perfect for Braeburn. How they handle that will shape their relationship, but I think I can see where it's going from here. I hope it's not going that way, but I'll have to keep reading to find out.
