Great chapter, looking forward to more.
Yes!
Well, it's great to see an other chapter and it was great. It was interesting to see an other characters family dynamic with a very strong personalties to the parents, like Spitfire's. It great to see that Soarin will get to see his mother again, and find out that she is married to someone else now, I wonder if he feels betrayed or left out by her despite telling himself that he she didn't want the job of motherhood and he didn't need her. I don't have a firmed stance on who was right and how was wrong, but I hope he will be able to move on from the encounter after that. It was nice to see the doc again and to show such concern for Soarin and Breaburn's break up. I will be looking forward to see the next chapter.

Thanks! The next one is mostly drafted, and I'm working on it as fast as I can.

I felt the same way writing it.

Thanks, Mix-Up! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and you're right: Soarin' has a lot of feelings about what's about to happen, and I look forward to unraveling it all with you soon.
I'm really glad you liked seeing Radiant Hope again, too! Both of them are tons of fun to write, and they're personal favorites of mine.
excellent way to end the quarter.
I know, I've been on my summer break less than a week and I'm already going nuts.
Anyway, it's good to see Soarin' start working on his past a bit. It'll be interesting to see where that goes. Spitfire's family is pretty cool, the family dynamic with Soarin' hurting was pretty interesting to see.

Congrats on surviving school, and I'm glad you had some Soarin' to help you wind down.

Thanks, I even ended up with a B- in the class I was worried about failing, so that turned out way better than expected.
This was a good way to wind down, although the tone didn't fit super well. Excellent chapter though.
Finally caught up :D
But why you gotta make me cry on my birthday
manhorse. Looking forward to more feels in the next chapter!8248054
Well, at least some of the characters got to relax. I'm glad your grade turned out well, and enjoy some well-earned rest!

Happy birthday!!! I hope you had a good one, even if there were some tears from this story. Remember that tears soften the heart, and sometimes we all need a good cry.

thanks, I'm already starting to go nuts though. I'm helping out with some research this summer, but I have a bit of a break first.
I got nothing to read now. I have search and read some stories that are interesting. Some good and some dark but somehow funny. Please mr.author, can we have some more?
whew! finally caught up
quick question, when are you gonna stop doing this? --> 💔

I'm both happy and sad that you're able to relate so much to the characters in the story. It's the sort of thing that I hope doesn't happen to people, but I know from experience that it does.

Correct - Fillydelphia is where it happens, based on what Soarin' said earlier.
Another reader also put that theory to me a few days ago. As for whether it happens that way, you'll have to wait and see.

I make no promises.
Huh, reminds me of the last comment I made on this story, what, two chapters ago?
Other than that, once again another great chapter here, and I love the way Spitfire's family is portrayed in all of it's "they actually feel like real people" glory. I also love the last letter left by Braeburn before he broke up with Soarin', it was very sweet and one could feel how heartfelt and caring it was, how much he wanted to see Soarin get better and, hopefully, move on from this dip in his life.
And now since Soarin' seems to have (re)built up his confidence, it'll be interesting to see what occurs when he sees his mother for the first time in God-knows-how-long. Oh, if weren't so late I'd read the next chapter, but I need sleep.
