And we finally learn what the picture Soarin kept hidden was. I'd been wondering that since I read it, but the image and the story behind it were well worth the wait.

I narrowed my eyes. "Got a date with that doctor from a couple streets over?"
"Maybe," she said coyly.
I looked at Braeburn. "She's just dating him for his money."
"Oh, don't be silly," she said, waving a hoof. She dead-panned at Braeburn, "I’m dating him for his stock options. They always forget those in the pre-nup."

Arguably the funniest moment of the chapter. I was laughing along with Daz and Soarin.

To be fair to other readers, though, I only started reading Sensation a couple weeks ago or so, so it's still fresh in my mind. It was only briefly mentioned in the earlier chapters, so I highly doubt I'd remember it if I'd been reading for a year and a half.

Hi, Silver! Actually, I did mean paninis. A panini is an grilled sandwich that's usually sold in coffee shops, and they're usually overpriced (which might be one reason Soarin' likes them ).

But this chapter was really cute for the most part! And it really touched my heart and made it warm; but at the same time, feel saddening to learn that Soarin's mother and father were going through so much trouble, and then made it up and got back in love again, only for Soarin's father to pass away, and his mother not seeming to care much about Soarin's father dying or Soarin at all. And I hope to see Soarin finally talk with her. Although I have a strong feeling that Brae and Soarin will split up before that happens. Just seems fitting to me. *shrug*

And I'll get to that next chapter that-totally-doesn't-exist-at-all-yet for you when I can.
