I'm actually happy about the conflicts in this story. I get really bored when there is none, and i hate when there's too much.

What i hate worse than both is when the conflicts are there for the sake of drama.

I actually enjoy stories withouut the problems sometimes. Gives it a simple feeling of life. I've read some romances that i wanted to favorite, but it was too simple. I still enjoyed them.

As for the story, i hope syn keeps this up as strong as it is. If i were reading this in from of him/her, then his/her ears would probably be bleeding throughout this story. It's on it's way to my favorites.

The chapters continue being over before I realize it. It's a great mix of humor, general cuteness and more serious tones to keep it fresh and moving forward, whilst adding additional depth to the characters.

I really love your depiction of Soarin, in all his flaws and worries, his enthusiasm, competitiveness and inability to find the right words when needed, ignorance or nativity at times, combined with his growth throughout the story, both within the retelling and his comments in hindsight.

Braeburn is simply too cute in this chapter. Going from a yellow ball of energy to needing a hug.
I do hope though that Braeburn's former relationship with Bronze isn't based on any of your own experiences.

I'm super excited for Braeburn to finally be a more active player in the story, especially since it'll let us all see how he and Soarin' react to one another. I absolutely love these two together (can you tell?). I really like how, on the show, we've gotten to see both of them experience a wide range of emotions despite their limited screen time.

Also, thanks for your concern. While I've certainly been in some regrettable relationships, I'm very fortunate that none of them have ever been physically violent. A friend of mine once had a relationship like that, and hearing him talk about it was one of the most unsettling things I've ever heard.

I'D be shocked if there wasn't a large amount of writers on this site who have gotten inspiration from their real lives. If syn had gone through that sort of relationship, which i wouldn't wish for anybody, then he/she clearly learned something from it.

The tale keeps getting better. You have a very good characterization, both Soarin' and Braeburn act like males (too many places think gay equals namby-pamby). The other tale, the relationship between Soarin and the reporter is also gaining some consistency and becoming interesting on its own.

This guy gets it! Dude, I couldn't agree more - one of the main reasons for writing this story was to give Soarin' and Braeburn a real-feeling relationship that didn't pander to a lot of the stereotypes. If I ever start going down that road, make sure to smack me upside the head.

And thanks! I'm glad the Soarin'/Syn plotline is holding your interest, too. My editor Tainted Ink has given me some great advice on those parts, and I hope it stays interesting without taking anything away from the main story.

Huzzah!! wonderful story as always mate, but couldn't grasp the feeling that Soarin that gave off while trying to preach to Braeburn on Ch. 14 but then again its Soarin. Hes a hotshot that doesn't really understand a serious relationship and maybe down the line hes going to understand what it feels like to be in one.

Hope to see more of your story, its soo rare to see such one as good as this one.
