The thing I hadn't planned for was actually his little freak-out at Syn over his own jealousy. When I was originally thinking about what Soarin' would say in that scene, imaginary Soarin' just kind of went off and started yelling about, well, what you saw. I decided to keep that detail in because it seemed to fit well with the chapter and the overall plot.

Whatever happens in the story, I hope you find it satisfying.

Hehe, would be cool to see an image of them with their dyed manes and earrings. And even though this story is heading for the sad, I'm loving the ride the whole way.

I think I've been reading this all day ._.

Also, I swear I keep crying whenever I see Soarin talk about his regrets, it's so heartfelt and just keeps sticking needles in my heart.

But, having written a story in which you know the end result (One character actually dies towards the end) it's one of those moments where I look at a story and just enjoy it all the more, knowing that the end isn't going to be happy, because for the moment they're happy and it's really well written.

But, being sick I can't binge this all in a night xD so I'll have to pick it up in the morning.

I saw Tsitra360's art of Soarin' and Braeburn in the photo booth a while ago. Seeing that it was tied to this story made me more curious about it. Now that I've read what it was based on I can appreciate it all over again!
