Excellent! Good to see that Soarin is starting to come down from the high of his new relationship and start seeing that Braeburn, great as he is, has some flaws of his own that he needs to work on. Now if only confronting a stubborn pony about them wouldn't be so hard...
Whee!
I'm in class ...
YAY!!!!! MORE AWESOMENESS!!!!!
I'll admit, Gala irks me, but I like Cortland. That bit at the end though, ROFL!!! I'm curious what he would have said, had Soarin's answer been different. Anxious to see how things go between Gala and Brae.
Good answer indeed!
It was quite amazing as always. Thankfully, this chapter was not as heart wrenching, as it actually felt like, things were being sorted out, and things had some kind of positive spin, even on the negative!
So... HAPPINESS!

Thanks! We're getting to the part of the story that I most wanted to write from the start. Wish Soarin' luck, because he might need it.

Wheeeeeeee!

Gala irks Soarin', too, but there's something important to keep in mind: this story is told from Soarin's perspective, and everything is subject to his biases.

I've actually used this line before. Worked like a charm. And yep! Even among all the hurt feelings, there definitely still something for Soarin' to smile about.

I demand you write one from braeburn's point of view!

Maybe someday. I've thought about it a lot, but there are many reasons I won't do it right now. Good to know that there's interest, though, and depending on which stories win in the poll, you should at least get to read something from somepony else's perspective.

To be fair.., as much as I would love one of his perspective, I won't expect it. It sounds like a lot of work.
Yes! Finally caught up! And it was fantastic the whole way. Looking forward to the next instalment.
I totally understand where Cortland is coming from. Hell, his objections to Braeburn's homosexuality are almost the same as my parents' were. Though my parents were more supportive than his, they were afraid I was setting myself up for an unhappy life and were more worried than anything. Time changes that, though, as that was over a decade ago, and they're totally supportive now. Gala is just in denial, just like my mom was... They'll both come around when Brae finds the one.
And by the hints in the story, I don't think that one is Soarin, unfortunately.yay but gayburn was pretty funny
Oh, well that takes care of that problem, then
