I think chapter one is a bit better, being more descriptive and making the kill feel...more realistic, i felt like I was sitting next to Scoots in that oven, but here..I wish I could feel the impact with the ground, not just see the *Splat* action word.

I still have the outline but I wanted to do some grand Lovecraftian adventure/horror story where Scootaloo has to face death and die countless times during her journey to understand what is going on and rescue Ponyville, and it didn't pick up any momentum. I think more readers = more feedback = more interest in a story and this may have just been too dark for everyone.
