When strange ponies from another world suddenly pony-nap all her friends, Pinkie Pie must find a way to defeat their master all on her own. Blamed for the crime herself, she has no help from Celestia and just about every pony in Ponyville is convinced that she's finally cracked. Who can she possibly find to fill in for the other Elements of Harmony, and help her defeat the ancient evil behind it all?

This story occurs after Discord is defeated but prior to the rest of season 2. Story is featured on Equestria Daily and is now officially a 'six star' rated story! Full size image can also be found there.

This story was written for National Pony Writing Month 2011. I completed the required amount for PonyWriMo on 20th of September.

The war is heating up. Whirlwind looks for ways to bring the war to an end sooner rather than later and to ease the sufferings of citizens. The elements of harmony are the only thing that can end the war quickly but there is a problem. Twilight Sparkle the spirit of Magic is loyal to her mentor Princess Celestia who is corrupted by her dark side, Solar Flare.

Until a solution is found Whirlwind must find aid from a very unlikely source which could bring him and the NLR down but he has no choice.

Luna has taking a liking to the adventurous life with the Doctor. They travel through space and time for laughs and to make sure everything happens as it should. Luckily, her number 2 princess status makes things easier since she's not much needed in the kingdom. As they make their adventures, a new friend comes along who goes by the name of Derpy joins in. Luna slowly becomes jealous as she and the clumsy Pegasus compete to be his top assistant.

When Discord invited Princess Celestia to his new home, he believed he was going to introduce her to his daughter, Screwball. Instead, they both make a horrifying discovery, one which forces Discord to infiltrate the infamous Changeling Hive. Can Discord survive the changelings and rescue his beloved daughter from the clutches of Queen Chrysalis?

"When a tiny filly from Ponyville ends up in a slave market half a world away, it's up to former slaver Blue Cat to bring her home. The only problem? Her home is in Ponyville, where a thug like him won't last five seconds. Plus, Blue's not exactly good with kids. Then how in the world did he end up with two?"

When I saw this comic, the overwhelming sensation was one of wanting to rescue something small and helpless; I put that feeling into writing, while changing some of the basic aspects of the comic. So please take the attached comic as a scene-setter, but not as canon for this particular story! (The filly pictured is an OC by the artist, so I am using my own OC in her place!)

They called him The Writer. He comes from a system known as Dien. He is the ruler and protector of this world and has loved his people and served as their king for hundreds of years. But in the blink of an eye it is all wiped out. An old foe wields a weapon of ultimate destruction and burns all of Dien in mere moments. Not even the Writer can stop him. In a desperate, last ditch effort, the Writers friends create a portal through space and hurl him through it against his will praying that he will find a safe place to hide and that his survival will bring back the power of Dien. Lost, broken, and filled with a sadness and rage unlike anything, the fallen king crashes on a world called Equestria. The denizens try their best to heal the broken man but there is more to this king than meets the eye. With the help of the Elements of Harmony and many others, The Writer sets out to find a way to curb his wrath and bring his home back from Destruction.

The Many Worlds Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics states that we live in an infinite web of alternate timelines, each distinct from one another in some way.

Across these infinite realities, the boundless possibilities, there are many alternate versions of Twilight Sparkle and Spike the Dragon. Every reality has a Twilight and a Spike.

One of them wants to change that.

This story is set near the dawn of pony time when only Light, the mother alicorn of creation, and her five children Celestia, Discord, Luna, Dream and Cadence existed. They live within the Palace of Creation away from all other ponies and grow to discover their powers as well as fight the opposite personalities that dwell within them.

In Dream's Reality, Dream and her twin sister Luna find themselves accidentally sucked into the world of ancient Equestria, back when earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi lived separately and in constant distrust of one another.

Unbeknownst to either of them, Dark (otherwise known as Lord Eclipse) has set a dangerous plot in motion to assure Dream's evil alter ego will grow to dominate her body, ushering in an age of nightmare and terror upon the infant world of ponies.

A side-story of sorts to The Melancholy of Pinkie Pie. One commenter said I'd "ponified Haruhi Suzumiya", which wasn't quite accurate. I'd put MLP characters into the Suzumiya setting, which is not quite the same thing.

Well, now I HAVE ponified Haruhi Suzumiya and the SOS Brigade.

Spring Sunshine, self-declared leader of Canterlot's SOS Brigade and seeker of humans, time travelers and superheroes, has decided to go to Ponyville for this year's All Flowers Festival at the height of springtime. Her mission: to seek out and find that giver of candy eggs and other gifts, the Flower Hare. With her for the ride are Snowflake (secretly a transformed human), Rosehips (secretly a time traveler from the future), Green Arbor (secretly a part-time superhero), and "Shiny" (an ordinary pegasus who writes regular reports to Princess Celestia). With a group like this, and a town like Ponyville, misadventure is inevitable...
