As her father dragged her to Manehattan for a business trip, Diamond Tiara was more than ready to do whatever it took to avoid a very long and boring stay at a hotel room while Filthy Rich finished his deals. As such, when she found out about a tour of the Big Apple and all its sights and wonders, she grabbed the idea with both hooves as a far better way of spending the day, after all, anything was better than being bored out of her mind as she stayed stuck in a room with nothing to do!

Of course, considering that her companions for said tour ended up being a grumpy retired dark lord, his extremely cheerful gargoyle son-in-law, and an utterly clueless saddle arabian tourist, she soon realized that a bit of boredom once in a while may not be that bad when all is said and done.

Bagan, an ancient word meaning extinction lived up to the name. 70,000 years ago it almost rendered humanity extinct on Terra and set down actions that would lead to loss of magic in that world to permanently change the future. Sealed away until it managed to free itself, the nightmare from the world of monsters now threatens Equestria.
Harmony, the living goddess of creation within the tree of her namesake. The creator of the Crystal Heart and laments that bear her name among other relics, she has selflessly given away her power for hundreds of years to protect mortals. Even with much of her power given away, she still keeps protective vigil over the worlds as a mother would her children.

Previously they had fought, the battle ending in a draw. But what could extinction and creation possibly have in common?

There are only six villains left in the entire world. Queen Chrysalis, Lord Tirek, Cozy Glow, King Sombra, the dread Grogar, and the Spirit of Malice and Madness known as Cosmos. All others have been reformed, seeing the light and embracing Harmony. Twilight Sparkle, ruler of Equestria, and her friends have decided to send these villains to a school where they can be reformed.

I'm sure that nothing else is going on.

After learning that the Mane 6 and Luna are away on a friendship mission, Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow want to attack Canterlot while only Celestia remains. Grogar however is adamant against it so they do the only thing they know how to... disobey his orders and attack anyway. Upon doing so though, they learn exactly why he said no and wish they had listened.

Ahh the finale, what trip. But a few things were left unanswered. Where was the real Grogar? Why was Cozy evil? Why wasn't Discord punished for nearly ruining everything?
